Cineworld last year was showing loads of discounted Christmas films managed to see home alone 2 and love actually at the cinema. Love love actually Colin Firth is a beautiful man. The guy who is in love with Kiera knightley is a dick and ruins the entire film for me 😂

I only watch The Holiday to swoon over Jude Law tbh. And I also love the soundtrack.
Jack black and Kate Winslet are my faves I can't stand Cameron Diaz but love the entire film and want to retire in that cottage

I’m sorry to say this about another woman, but it’s Kiera Knightley who ruins the entire movie for me.

My sister went to a movie with live orchestra today and really liked it. They also did ELF at the Royal Albert hall last year.

If you want a better experience: 😂

I’m undecided on the Disney on ice tickets.

It seems quite pricey.

Just preordered an advent calendar for my husband. He looks sweets and this is one that has different sweets behind each window. He gets frustrated with the haribo one as most of them are the same.

Ooh where is this? Yeah her one facial expression is annoying also but you don't go messing with another man's woman.

I’ve been introducing my daughter to Jane Hissey’s Little Bear, it’s all on YouTube (I wish we had a form of physical media left so she could know the joy of videos?!) including the Christmas video!! I *loved* it as a kid, like it sounds weird but the sensory elements of it like the flour on the zebra and him being washed etc etc? 🥲

Re Disney on ice - I know you don’t have kids so I’d say consider the potential hell/disappointment of being surrounded by kids in varying states of dysregulation? As happens to all kids this isn’t a slight on anyone! But it’s a consideration for even going with my LO cos I cba to go through that effort to be overstimulated af by a huge venue of kids going off!

The live Movie orchestra was at Southbank. The movie in question was Spider-Man . :ROFLMAO:

It’s her laugh as well when she’s watching the tape. He had time to tell her that he was in love with her before she got married.

Royal opera house tends to be pricer, but they have Cinderella and Hansel & Grettle this year.

You triggered a memory of story cassettes for me. I also loved going to Blockbuster’s with my aunt on Fridays.

Thanks for the advice Here. The price alone didn’t make it worth it to me. I paid £70 for two tickets the last time I bought, an almost X2 increase seems a bit much.

My sister said the same thing when she went to the London Aquarium during half term. That she would have enjoyed it better if there hadn’t been so many young kids too. I did buy them the Merlin passes when they were on sale so that’s going to keep them busy.

My sister did ballet when she was younger, so that explains my ballet heavy influence on this thread. 😂
