I have moved to the hospital closer to home which is a positive. The negative is the food here is beyond bad. Inedible slop.

OMG!

Spoiler: Smear test

I have been having smears for 20 odd years and this was the worst ever! I was anxious for the first time ever about it, as I had to have treatment after my last one...so the fact that my appointment was 4.30, and was waiting outside (covid and a vaccination clinic meant you can't wait indoors)until 5.15 didn't help! The nurse didn't even know why I was there and then she could find my cervix..at this point, she got a more experienced nurse in, who also couldn't find it, despite using and xxl speculum! I didn't even know they can in several sizes! Never had an issue before and now I have to wait 3 months until they try again! I feel quite traumatised!

Not yet. They should have had their meetings about me yesterday/today, so I should hear early next week.

This hospital is a real come down after the previous one. I was spoiled there. They changed my position every two hours to stop me getting sore. Here I have been stuck on my back since breakfast. Waaah. Moan. Grumble.

Right so I got on the bus before to go to Nanna’s from Great Nanna’s, I’m with Nanna btw and I get on the bus and I ask for a day rider. The driver goes ‘why a day rider? Are you coming back to mine’ and I just laughed as we were getting off he goes ‘see you later gorgeous’ I just laughed again Nanna was like ‘he was checking you out then’ was waiting for the bus to go back home, Nanna was waiting for me, bus pulls up, same bloody driver! He goes ‘Youve got this handsome driver again!’ I just laughed again sat in the pram bit and he was shouting from his seat going ‘never seen you on any of these bus routes before! You look great considering you have a baby’ I just kept awkwardly laughing looking at the baby like wtf asking me if I’m from round here!!!! He just got off to switch drivers and he waved at me and went ‘see you laters, hopefully’ and winked at me he was a dead short bald stocky guy. Looked a bit like the hunchback of notre dame
