Appalling. So insensitive. Really showing her true colours this week with the attention seeking rant over an utterly stupid dm (which i believe was harmless) and then this. Disgusting
but hey must try Charlotte tilburys new make up nothing else going on in the world ..

she lives in her own weird bubble another one unless it effects her like the message received during the week she doesnt care!

What was her rant about ladies? Sorry for asking but I couldn’t face stories this week with all ghe instahuns
Her content since Xmas has been about how her kids are driving her mad and poor me stuck home with them with no support (just herself and her husband there god help her). Look at her last grid post to give you an idea. She got a dm on a story saying something like " they are only children, let them be" ...Well she went off on one..it was all for attention and content because her content has been a bore fest 😴

There was a time when her recent content and her insincerity towards Ashling Murphy would of shocked me but that time has long gone. He self obsession with herself and showing off the home she has is clearly who she is now. I recall her repainting her brand new kitchen and going on and on about it, it was really in bad taste imo. The thing was new and most ppl would of craved such a lovely new space but not Charlene. Now the panelling and paining in her home, the Christmas tree and garland. She just seems puke. She seems to barely work, don't know how her company got off the ground. And as for the kids, they are barely out of nappies, of course they drive us nuts. I've 3 of them almost 4 (still cooking) they drive me nuts at times but that's what kids are. She's just driving me nuts recently and the Ashling post followed by her living her best life was rude and insensitive.

Her serum is the fountain of youth according to her, but it doesnt seem to help her own fine lines

€50 for a night cream?!?!

WAY OFF with that price point!
Could not agree more. There are no active ingredients so it's very hard to justify the price point. I do understand price is driven from the fact it is produced in Ireland. However I will be moving away from Ella and Jo as for the same price tag I can get products targeted for my skin concerns.

I would rather spend that money on a better brand ... because neither of their skin is a selling point for skincare products
I haven’t followed either in a long time, I am a skincare specialist for nearly 20yrs and neither women would entice me to run out to pay €50 for a product they have for sale. They are both suffering from extreme dehydration on their skin, both suffer from deep lines for their age, and their skin texture is course looking even with a filter & both suffer from cakey looking make up as they haven’t yet addressed their skin concerns! I just don’t get it get them how people still buy into them/product🤷🏼‍♀️ Thankfully we have a great selection of skincare at affordable prices out there that will deal with our skin concerns!

excellent post. I thought the same but you are the expert and put it so well.€50 is a lot of money! I use facetheory, found them in lockdown 1, found the retinol brilliant and so inexpensive as they give you options on building regimes. And then to see they have sent it to every Tom dick and Harry and we haven’t even seen a legit before and after photo - it’s a bit presumptuous to be honest. Can’t get over the €50

You've put into words what I've been thinking about for ages. And you've done it excellently, well done! I've always noticed the dry, dehydrated skin look they have. Not trying to be bitchy but they always look amateur, nothing polished about the shoots and colours they wear and promo seem so dated. This alongside their own skin and they ingredients listings, benefits etc. make me question their products.
It seems the only reasoning for pricing is because its Irish made and its what they've decided it to be.
They aren't chemist's or formulators themselves to justify the research or experimentation with ingredients to come up with the products. We can all read up. On ingredients but working with them together is key to bringing out brilliant products.

I have the cleansing balm and I do quite like it, I may have even chanced the night cream based on my success with the balm but at €50? Don’t think so!

I don’t follow this wan but was interested in her products so was trying to research online and insta. Searched everywhere and it seems I must be blocked even though I never followed or engaged with her content….

Is it unfortunate lighting or what’s going on with her make up in todays stories? Her face is a completely different colour to her neck and chest.

Her hair is doing nothing for her these days either. As old fashioned as the bob was, it suited her more than whatever is going on there at the minute!
