I find Joel's stories are coming across as quite rude and passive aggressive now. To say once that you're jealous, I get it, but all of this? He's been with Carrie for literal weeks not even months, of course you won't be invited on a family holiday because you're not part of the family yet

I bit the bullet and watched as much as I could of all Carrie's stories on insta. Nice to see she is actually spending some time away from her family, to give them some space! I've only been to Disney in America once when I was 11 (so a while ago!!) and I don't remember the parade characters talking so much to individuals in the crowd - was this just because she was in a supposed "reserved area" or is this a common thing nowadays in Disney?

I was in a relationship in the past and when I went on holiday with my family leaving him at home all he did the whole week was text me and call me and make me facetime him every single night. I didnt see it at the time but I found it annoying and restricting. Looking back on it I can see how controlling he was, and manipulative making me feel bad for trying to enjoy myself with my family without him.
Needless to say I can see this being exactly what carrie is going through now. I hope it takes her less time to see it than I did. (I wasted 5 years of my life on that man, never again!)

as if they don’t have a private guide with them so they don’t have to do the lines and have reserved spots for them. But sure Carrie, this totally happened to you just because they wanted to give you some magic and not because your famous family.

I feel like if Carrie does come back from this trip wanting to breakup with Joel, he’ll have none of it. He’ll stalk her and harass her about how he loves her and that they need to be together, he comes across as a man child. I really tried to give Joel the benefit of the doubt, but at this point I can’t, it’s too much and too cringe. He makes Carrie seem not so insufferable, if I was her I would be running for the hills away from him. Just my opinion though.
