He has to be on a wind up.
I thought Josh Wood did it for her? Bit weird to talk about herself in the third person thoIf a woman talked about bleaching her hole, the freaks would be horrified.
I know what you mean. I enjoy skincare. I don’t spend a lot of money on it, I don’t have lots to spend, but even if I did I wouldn’t go mad. I do love taking care of my skin, looking at new products, deciding what I might like to try next, etc. The way Caroline and the people in the forum go on it sucks all the fun and joy out of skincare. It turns it into a competitive, joyless pastime, it sounds really stressful.Someone called the Hydraluron “Hironluron” earlier and she commented saying “Please don’t call it that, thanks.” The drama continues.
Someone posted on the group earlier asking about what they think is going to be in the autumn kit. Seriously? Seems excessive since the summer kit has only just been done. AND there’s talks of a Hirons releasing her own branded products next year. Jeeeeez. Can’t wait to see how many faces she burns off with that.
I’m beginning to truly despise skincare.
This stuff is amazing. I use the AHA/BHA peel for 10 mins, a clay mask for 15 and then hydrating serum and basic moistiriser after. Every week or soThe Ordinary 30% red peel stuff for 10 minutes followed by an SKII sheet mask every couple of weeks and I never look better skinwise. I really do find the peel stuff magical for my skin (used sparingly) and its soooo cheap!
Have you tried The Ordinary's Salicylic mud mask? (Not after the red peel mask obvs). Also, gives really good results. This stuff is amazing. I use the AHA/BHA peel for 10 mins, a clay mask for 15 and then hydrating serum and basic moistiriser after. Every week or so
It's quite hardcore, definitely not for the sensitive or a starter acid. I do find it stings when I initially put it on but my skin is not red or irritated when I remove it, just really smooth and my pores look more refined.I keep looking at the peel by the ordinary but I’m so scared incase I burn myself!!
I heard Caroline say on a recent-ish podcast (not sure which one, sorry) that she no longer uses acids every day - it's too harsh. More contradictory BS from her.
I think I’ll give it a miss, I’ll just be too nervous and wash it of at the first feel of a tingle lol. Although I don’t have the most sensitive skin I do have reactions to some skincare. The worst was neutrogena hydro boost. That stuff gave me the biggest red blotches all over my face and neck! I was sore for days after. It's quite hardcore, definitely not for the sensitive or a starter acid. She is beautiful.Katie Jane Hughes shared her night time skincare routine on her IG story last night and it's basically 1. Cleanse 2. Go to bed, and she has great skin. I'm sure I've seen her use acids when prepping skin before makeup though.
