I really don't understand why someone would go on to a group of 60k strangers and ask something like this. I think people are trying to ask certain questions to provoke Caroline in to responding. Very desperate.
Truly desperate , parading unnecessary detail about your personal life around. I wish people would ignore rit like this and not bother responding.

Sorry to highjack the thread with acid talk but I’ve never used acid before and wondering if anyone has recommendations on which one to start with?
I would recommend the ones from la Roche posay one i think is vitamin c they are 3 bottles that similar but different colour, is a pharmaceutical brand and not expensive

I just said a couple of pages back, Inkey List PHA very gentle and affordable. Also First Aid Beauty pads I found ok too, you can usually find them online and get 20% off and get a small tub to try.

Thanks!
I do use The Ordinary Granactive Retinoid emulsion but have read this can’t be used at the same time as an acid. Or it can be but you have to be careful, don’t think I’ll take that chance so would probably only use it twice a week. I’ll have a look next time I’m in boots for the pixi tonic. I’ve seen that a millions times aswell. I was just looking at the mario badescu glycolic acid too as it’s only 2% so wonder if that’s a good starting point? I’m lost in a world of acids 🤯🤯🤯
CH hates Mario Badescu, think Sali too, just because the brand didn't want to $$ her, I have used their productsI still do eventually and got very good results including that product and my skin is very sensitive combination prone to acne i break out easily so always careful with what i put in my face.

Quite a few of the beauty gurus I watch don't rate Mario Badescu products. James Welsh who I trust thinks the products generally aren't great but people buy them for the look of the packaging.

That said if something is working for you stick with it. I have only used the spray toners and they are ok but nothing special in my opinion.

Ah yes i watched a couple of his videos, definitely far more educated and better manners that Hirons but I doubt he has any actual qualifications to say something is good or not more than googling ingredients I get the same vibes about Hyram too

Yep. They’re only ever going to highly rate brands who pay them anyway 🤷🏼‍♀️

I would reckon after getting "distracted", if you're worrying about your skincare routine afterwards then your other half needs to work a bit harder 😂😜

This is so lame. Apart from anything else, why would you need to do your routine again? I'm amazed some of these "freaks" get time to have sex at all seeing as they're such slaves to their skincare routine

Me too. I guess the freaks saw the attention that anal bleaching guy got and some have now decided that being "risquè" will get the attention of the great leader herself

Paula's Choice Salicylic Acid for me.
Love this product, too! I used the gel form, the liquid one was a bit too much for me. When I get back to work, seeing I'll be wearing a mask most of the time, I think I'll get it again. It helped with the sebum production on my chin a lot. Highly recommend it to anyone looking for a salicylic acid, they have various strengths and formulations most of which come in travel sizes, so it's good for testing it out, as they are not cheap.
These days if my chin is acting out, I use Stridex alcohol free pads, but sparingly and not all over my face, as it would be too much for me. Also use them wherever on my body. I don't seem to agree with AHAs at all.

I’ve been reading about salicylic and glycolic acids and apparently the salicylic is for acne prone skin and the glycolic is more for ageing, fine lines etc. I’m definitely needing all the glycolic!!

That's correct - Labmuffin has a pretty good guide on this:

(with actual science, not just £££ recommendations)

Amazing how more of these kits just keep appearing, isn’t it?
She was on This Morning talking about skincare. I wish they wouldn’t use her. That’s twice now.

Try the superdrug naturally radiant pads. They seem pretty gentle to me and there is a tonic in the range too if you prefer that.

Plus they are always on offer so can usually pick them up for about £3

Nadine Baggott gets on my nerves too - when she's with that horrendous woman (Jo someone?) as "The Beauty Hags" - just awful. I want to see more mature women on YouTube etc but the ones that are there just seem to be mutton dressed as lamb, with no intention of accepting their age! That defeats the object of being older. They're just embarrassing.
I'll stick with LabMuffin. She's all about the science and is easy to watch.

Yes! That pair are totally unwatchable - the screeching and constant yakking over one another 🙈🙉 😡
