It kind of feels like a cult, spend all of your money and credit cards so that the leader Caroline will notice you.

"Notice me senpai Caroline!" the women shriek as their husbands start their second job, so they are able to pay off the credit cards depth once again !

Totally agree. She persuades followers to covet the kits before they even know what’s going to be in them and therefore if they’re even going to be suitable. So really, before the kits are released and anyone knows what’s in them, the freaks have already made their minds up to buy one or both, whether they’re suitable for them or not.

Is that not gambling?

A weird comparison to draw to, a lot of games used to have loot boxes - basically you pay money to be able to get a digital box in which you can win things for the game. It got heavily criticized because people would spend tons of money so they could get everything they need/want without them knowing how big of a chance there was for them to get the items. It has even gotten the attention to some of EU governments and has been or is getting implemented into the gambling laws.

I couldn't agree more. Two things that shills like CH never mention are that HRT isn't for everyone as it permanently increases your risk of breast cancer (even smoking doesn't do that), and that HRT only kicks the can down the road, it doesn't 'treat' or 'cure' menopause - at some point you have to come off HRT and then you'll go through menopause, hot flushes and all. Infuriating.

Older women have the profitable combination of desperate + disposable income that drives snake oil sales. You can be sure if CH thought she could make as much from younger women, there would be 'kits' for them too...
I think she should be more transparent though there’s a 21 year old in there who posted about whether she should buy or not she hasn’t even used the spring kit
Also saw she had posted buying really expensive skincare which tbh she probably doesn’t need until later down the road not at 21
Im sure if someone was trying to sell Ava something she would say something

That is not true

There are plenty of studies that show it does not “permanently increase your risk of breast cancer” It also does not “kick the can down the road”. You do not have to come off at HRT at some point, and nothing to suggest you will then have all the symptoms

Im afraid all of your points are wrong. I’ve done a huge amount of research into HRT, and I was on it for 8 years.

Please don’t post misinformation as fact. I know this is a gossip site but women here terrified of the menopause may read that and think those points are all true when they aren’t

Everybody should do their own research and speak to their GP or a menopause specialist and make their own informed decision about HRT. But please don’t fear it because it can be life changing for many women who suffer from one or more of the 35 recognised menopause symptoms that aren’t just night sweats and hot flushes

Some poor lady has asked the ultimate question- why is everyone so hysterical about the kits. Needless to say, admins on the FB group shut it down ASAP
Just came here to post this. You literally cannot challenge anything in that group without admins closing comments.

I also can't deal with the amount of people looking for attention or needing validation from a group of strangers on Facebook.
'Oh my last post got no replies, poor me, I must leave the group immediately. But first I'll post this post about getting no comments on my post and feeling disheartened.'
'Oh no lovey, don't leave, Queen Hirons needs you. It's just the ALLLLGGGOORRITIM'.

WELL ACTUALLY MAYBE IT'S NOT THE ALGORITIM, INSTEAD PEOPLE ARE SICK OF REPLYING TO THE SAME QUESTION LOOKING FOR A RECOMMENDATION FOR A FACIAL MIST OVER AND OVER..USE THE bleeping SEARCH FUNCTION.

If the products are ‘innocuous’ then Superdrug will do the same for about £35 all in.

No they're not. I'm on HRT myself for various reasons, and last year was called into a review at my GPs to discuss the breast cancer finding. I ultimately decided that it was right for me to continue on HRT. When the time comes to come off it, the dose is reduced to minimise the withdrawal symptoms (ie hot flushes etc). At some point, the body has to get used to the lower hormone levels.

My point is that people like CH, who are focused on becoming 'menopause experts' rarely if ever mention any risks and present the menopause as this terrible thing which needs to be 'cured' by privately prescribed medication, rather than as a normal bodily process.

“... products that Caroline works damn hard to curate so it brings both results and happiness to people”

Thank you for this gem, @Stonecatlin.

I AM DEAD. 😂 💀

My grandmother died of breast cancer. My mum was offered HRT when she was menopausal many years ago. She declined. Her GP said with the family history it was very wise to not go on it and, if he were female, neither would he! She has since had breast cancer.
I am now going through menopause and I will not touch it because I’m already likely to be genetically predisposed to breast cancer
When I voiced why in a meno-group I was in, I was told that with that attitude I’d bring breast cancer on myself!

If women choose to take it, then that’s their decision. Likewise it is mine not to take it.
Caroline finds HRT her Holy Grail. Good for her but it’s not for me.

Since when did ‘curate’ become the frickin catch all for PICK or SELECT? It’s not an art exhibition, it’s a box of face creams.
What a load of absolute twaddle . Get a grip people (as Queen Caroline would say).

She works really hard out of the goodness of heart to sell you stuff love! 😂

There’s been an uptake in the sellers groups of people who desperately want the kit selling skincare
The 21 year old who I mentioned earlier is selling this so two items from the kit she bought previously yet she still plans to buy the most recent one
Noticed a few comments about people using the Clearpay option. Not sure I’m a fan of her adding that as an option

Sorry I thought it had been deleted but I’ve found the post now and the comments. I’ve scribbled out their details but let’s just say the blue commenter is part of the group “clique” which is why the comments have only been turned off rather than the post deleted!

Do people buy used skincare items? I wouldn’t buy anything that had been opened, especially not in the middle of a pandemic but maybe I'm being overly cautious.
