How embarrassing - Jordan samuels who wouldn’t of even be known to the UK with out Caroline ( she promotes him everywhere) donated just £75 .... that’s a couple of his products! She must of helped him makes absolute £1,000s!!
A post in the freaks group indicate he donated £1000. Maybe the £75 was personal

Just looked at her insta stories - she’s such a playground bully! Saying she’s watching which brands/influencers aren’t donating to Beauty Backed. You don’t know what other people are doing/giving behind the scenes. Shaming loads of tiny businesses (most seem to be run by people of colour...but the enemy is men now apparently so that doesn’t matter). Don’t get me wrong, they shouldn’t be waxing noses etc but to start making out that they are the face of privilege and making them the villains bringing down the beauty industry is ridiculous. Especially when posting their faces. Focus on criticising the government.

So it's mandatory to donate to a charity now? They might have other charities they believe in or they could have struggles of their own if they're a tiny business.

Imagine if one of your friends posted about their charity fundraiser, a marathon or similar, and said "I'll be watching who donates and who doesn't". You would be horrified and rightly so.

She's losing the run of herself

And I’m done with her and her freaks, publicly shaming people for the amount they’ve donated? No..... unacceptable, they’ve raised £200k so far which is awesome but how exactly is that going to help the thousands of beauty therapists in the UK?
There are 3 or 4 within walking distance of my house, let’s me honest this is her doing her saviour bit again and nothing more.

Her ego is going to be the size of the planet after this. I bet the British Beauty Council and BABTAC are having a few headaches over what zany, challenging things she’s going to say next...

I think she’s doing alright 🤷‍♀️

As she said if barber shops are flagrantly breaking the law and posting it on social media, duck em. Women’s businesses, places women spend their money are being ducked over.

But yeah, pay for your own treatments.

Is she suggesting women should reopen their businesses regardless of what the Government is advising?

I agree with the obvious discrimination that is on show but no one who’s already skint wants to risk a fine for disregarding the current instructions ( even if they are an a).

No she’s saying what would “they“ do if women did open up those services given the flagrant flouting of guidelines elsewhere for which there are, apparently, no repercussions.

I am a bit on both sides for this.
on the one hand it’s great she’s doing this and using her platform for good but the begging is really not good. Saying she “knows” companies numbers is completely wrong too and if she does then for some companies that’s insider trading problems.
of course Trinny donated loads, look at her mega rich boyfriend.
i find the company shaming really low. Nobody except execs know what companies are doing behind the scenes.

Agree, she’s right about barbers vs salons, it’s ridiculous. But the shaming of people and companies to donate is not on. And tagging Chris Witty in her post saying ‘we’re coming for you’ or similar - eek.

(I definitely never want to see another picture of a man having his nostrils waxed again. Vom!)

They’d have more to worry about than having no income if they decided to take Caroline’s obscene advice.

Of course the charity in itself is a noble thing. But she's behaving like a rottweiler about the whole thing. Shaming people into donating, keeping a list of who has donated and who hasn't.

There are already many charities out there and maybe people already donate to those ones close to their heart. Maybe her beauty industry colleagues who haven't donated already have their own charity partners

And I will never get over the fact that she accepted a free midnight treatment, plus another free appointment only a matter of weeks later

I actually think a bit of un-finessed anger and bolshiness is due.

I can’t say I’ve absorbed the details of who she’s outing or not outing or what she’s doing or others are not doing on the charity bit. I can’t get in a rip about that.

To be fair, Trinny is fairly wealthy in her own right and has always been generous.

Also, Caroline posting pictures to her social channels of regular people at barbers? Is that not a huge no no? It's not the customers or the barbers fault they have been allowed to open and beauty salons haven't. It sucks but it's not their fault.

She has conducted herself in her usual oafish, aggressive manner, and as is typical with Caroline, her ire is misdirected.

Very true. I just mean she’s very wealthy and has an incredibly rich boyfriend so easier for her to chuck some money in. Worded wrong.

The barbers are at fault if they are undertaking procedures outwith COVID guidance - is that not what she’s saying about nasal waxing?

In my opinion the handling of the donations has been crass. I understand what she said about trying to get some competition going between companies, but that seems to have backfired, because now it’s just turned into people nitpicking over who’s donated what rather than being thankful to everyone who has donated anything, no matter how small the amount. Surely that’s the point with charity?

I don’t like the fact that barbers are openly flouting the law regarding facial treatments. However, individual cases should be reported through the correct channels so they can be dealt with and fined accordingly, instead of big gob Hirons shaming small businesses on the gram. She would go ape tit if someone was doing this to female owned small beauty businesses, but it’s open season on the men it would appear.

I hope that any company that has felt obliged to donate because they are being called out by CH to support "their" industry is equally as supportive to their own employees should the worst happen.
I completely agree the government have handled this appallingly but I fail to see why skincare or makeup companies are being named and shamed into donating money when many if those companies will be operating very differently than before to enable them to save every single penny possible to make sure their own employees are protected. And she should be stating very clearly that she will no longer be accepting free or cut price treatments, if she continues to hypocritically take on one hand while giving out a sermon on the other she's going to lose credibility. And she's still posting unsubtitled stories which is not inclusive.
