It seems we’re all agreed, a stay in hospital isn’t really an ideal opportunity for a pampering session, with all your favourite products and smells. If you are considered to be sick enough to warrant a hospital bed for the night, you’re really not going to be up for a routine of any description. When I was in, there were women in after hysterectomies recovering from their anaesthetic who were released the next day. With key hole surgery it can be the same day. Apparently even first time mums get sent home the same day if they give birth in the morning. An NHS ward isn’t a beauty parlour.

Now that to me is just cruel. In Ireland I was in hospital for two nights having my babies (public not private.)I do have good associations after those stays thank God!

it is a constant fascination to me how people post their lives on the internet thinking others are interested. Given the drama with the oafs eldest sons then girlfriend getting abuse from online people and then the grand daughter the same (so say) and therefore no longer posting about them, why on earth would you then post pictures of their wedding?? Also given that it was not a traditional type of wedding, more like Robin Hood Prince of Thieves you are just inviting critical comments. I find it so narcissistic that people assume others are interested in their private lives. If I had suffered abuse at the hands of the Oaf's satanic followers I would keep my private life exactly that - private. I suppose I am just an old fogie who thinks that life should be a bit more private.
