Jesus, globally qualified! Even hotshot lawyers are usually only qualified in their own country. To think that Caroline is qualified to offer facials from Bel Air to Beirut; from Rapa Nui to Romford.

I feel that life has passed me by.

Yes

Also what’s a globally qualified advanced facialist?
Ruth’s arms must still be hurting from that reach!

So it turns out the "Skincare Queen" gets quite a lot pumped into her skin :unsure:
Reminds me of Susan Yara (who is a bit pretentious herself) talking about those celebrity get unready videos on Harper’s Bazaar (or is it Vogue?) and saying (powerphrasing this) while these creams and serums etc is all well and good, you have to remember that these people have work outside of their skincare routine like extractions, facials, peels, Botox etc so you shouldn’t be too taken in by their use of skincare alone.
With Caroline admitting that she has fillers she and her followers can’t take her word that an item is ‘plumping’ because it could be the work of her fillers. Now there are external factors, the work of her skincare won’t be definite.

I think she has a science degree from what I remember, I watched her couple of her videos and she mentioned it in one and thats why she likes looking into ingredients and what they do, efficacies, research, etc
Her videos are very informative and helpful. . Used to be a journalist n columnist .. she has years of experience is well informed. . Does her research. .and is serious about her content creation unlike a lot of othr folks who've moved on or are too busyto do what actually got them their core audience. .ie skincare makeup reviews etc

So all that double cleansing etc and the bloody fraud has Botox and fillers? What a con artist. She has the (filled) cheek to have a go at anyone who calls her out on it. I used to like but not now. 🤬

Superb. Goodnight Caroline.

And it’s not an accident she’s talking about menopause. Menopause related products and haircare have been named as two big growth areas for the beauty industry going forward as general skincare and makeup slows down. You can bet your bottom dollar the influencers know this. Given her age Caroline is probably working hard to position herself as some sort of pseudo menopause expert with lived experience as her USP.
She can’t spell which diminishes her impact somewhat. Here for her calling out the bullshit though!

Sorry, think I quoted the wrong post. I meant Captain Science.

Well I think it's perfectly fine to be disappointed when you find out the glowy, smooth skin isn't just achieved by the pricey potions she's been flogging for years. I mean, it's obvious she's had something done, her forehead doesn't move and you only have to look at old Youtube videos to see it still did a couple of years ago. It's her choice, obviously and I'm not judging, but hiding it in an Instagram story isn't exactly being totally upfront about procedures, is it.

Of course it's disappointing to find out that someone who promotes skincare is using expensive injections to get the results they have!

It's not shocking that an individual gets work done, that's her choice, but to carry on talking about results from skincare for a whole year after getting injections is unethical, and it's disingenuous to claim otherwise. It is her follower's business, because they're her business - the ones she's trying to sell to.

(I wasn't shocked, I must say; it was pretty obvious. But I can understand why someone would be)

Just seen it's on her insta page now, not just in the stories. My bad. Still, calling it "baby botox"...bollocks.

The lashes still give me nightmares.

WTF is with this baby botox, weak dilute, just a smidge language. Botox is botox. If you're going to have it and be upfront about it, own it

I think CH, with her globally qualified knowledge of every skincare brand out there, has performed a vital scientific experiment.

By acknowledging her botox and fillers, she has shown us all that skincare doesn't work. It just doesn't do what it promises. It smells nice, it feels nice to apply. But that is all.

So the woman has performed a vital public service, and good on her for having a conscience which whispers to her in that no bullshit way: Caz, love, how can you recommend creams costing hundreds to women knowing they are wasting their money when even you have abandoned the notion that good skincare is all that's needed....

If her forehead is smooth, plastic looking and does not move with baby botox imagine if she had the full works.
Why do they have to dilute the truth like when they get freebies it's PR sample or PR experience. No it's a bliddy freebie that you did not have to pay for that you want us to click on your affiliate link to earn you money:mad:

All that crap about not using wipes wipes and she stick botulism in her smug puffy face!! You couldn’t make it up. She’s embarrassed herself.

I don’t understand why, if she’s been having it a year, she hasn’t mentioned it until now. A year is a long time.

...also, a year my arse.

I’ll just leave these here.
For me this is what is wrong with these shouty women.... CH, Sali Hughes and others. They are so busy polarising their positions that they forget what stance they have taken in the past. We are then accused of deep rese
arch when we dare to quesiton them.

I have nothing against anyone having tweakments, whatever they want to call it. I have had botox in the one line I had on my face, which was not a line it was a crevice and it looked odd, but I had botox, was it baby, was it a weak dilute? I have no idea. It was botox and that is what I called it and that is what I tell everyone I had. I also am lucky enough to be in my 50s and have really good skin. That might be down to genetics, that might be down to the products I have put on my face, it might be down to the fact that I have never smoked and I don't drink much..... who knows. What I am not doing however is professing to be an expert or schilling people expensive products (because lets face it most of what these women schill is not cheap) I might say to someone that I like a product but what works for one may not always work for another. If anyone asks about my skin I am always honest as I don't have anything to hide or any ulterior motive.

What I am saying in a round about way is that these women are lying to themselves if they think that they are doing all of this for us..... they ain't
