Andrew Brady mentioned in his blog post that a while ago a bad story was coming out so to stop it she gave an interview about her depression.

Chris O’Dowd’s tweet.
I saw Jane Moore on Loose Women last week, she said something like Caroline had friends in the media who covered for her and stopped stories coming out. I think there's a lot about CF we don't know about.

It was so sad to read this. I'd say it was definitely her version of a suicide note.

What bothers me about this law that Stephanie Davis is trying to pass is that it could be subject to being abused by celebrities. What I mean by that, is, would it give them a way to act like a total knob, do as they please but they can't be called out on it because that's trolling and that's not good for mental health so therefore the press and the public who have said anything to me will be accountable if I turn to drink or drugs or suicide?

Does that make sense?!

Laura Whitmore has been really vocal about Caroline/be kind/the press/trolls

so was it planned or just really, really bad timing that the dress she wore at the awards has newspapers all over it 😐

Would that be the Laura Whitmore who was publicly lambasting social media who is posting herself....... ooooo look ...... all over social media 3 days later. Go the fuck away Laura. Hypocrisy at its finest, fake grief at its worst.

Do people usually take their own life out of nowhere or have there usually been numerous attempts/thoughts of suicide, leading up to it?
The two instances I’ve experienced: one was depressed, having trouble at home, moved out and stayed with family for a while, returned home, hanged himself. He was 17.

The other, late twenties, she’d just got married about two or three months earlier. Husband went for a jog. Returned and she’d hanged herself. No note, nothing.

I don’t think there is a ‘usually....’.

I disagree with posts saying she wasn’t an abuser. Hitting someone over the head while they’re at their most vulnerable and defenceless is abusive. Threatening suicide to your partner abusive. (we also know she did this in a previous relationship, and was apparently abusive to him too) Threatening suicide to the police unless they drop the charges is abusive. Yelling, screaming and calling someone extreme names is abusive. Slitting your wrists when you’re not getting your way is abusive.

she was a very troubled woman but let’s call a spade a spade here. Her behaviour has all the hallmarks of someone who is abusive and manipulative.
Wow!! You're lovely aren't you? Where did you get all this information from then? The press no doubt? none of us know what went on and to just speculate and read what was obviously twisted in the media is wrong. Caroline was clearly struggling with depression and anxiety and feeling she had nowhere to turn, read the statement what she wanted to put out but was advised not to. Just because the cps were gong ahead with a trial does not mean she was guilty of anything, innocent until proven guilty!! She was pushed to suicide, as she saw it as her only way out of the deep black hole of anguish and despair that she was suffering in. Have a heart please!

soooo many of these mates, who I’m sure are upset, are just horrific! That personal trainer posted about Caroline stating she looked great “for her age”, how they talked a lot about her problems, how she pushed through her sessions, followed by links to his book and stating he is taking on new clients 🤬🤬🤦‍♀️ Others have posted one very seemingly heartfelt post about her and are then putting up outfit pics or their night out stories on social media. It is so wrong. Wouldn’t you just not use it for this purposes for a while if you were so close? It’s clear she couldn’t cope with social media or the celebrity world yet you’re powering on despite losing your mate. Horrible fake place.

I listened to a woman who was going to take her life, and she said you are out of your rational mind. You act outside of your control and in an instant switch you can impulsively act.
Very well put.

No offence but these people like Steph Davis, Kerry Katona etc are projecting their own experience onto Caroline’s and are a bit too emotionally invested
It’s because they themselves are not emotionally stable. Someone really needs to shut Steph Davis up, she’s an absolute fruit loop who battered her boyfriend and is now pretending she knew Caroline Flack to sell her new single. This is the biggest fucking joke ever.

I don't want to be goulash, but will there be a toxicity report? One good thing could be to inform people that cocaine and booze hugely multiplies the risk of suicide. Writing be kind for a couple of days achieves nothing.

Laura whitmore said we need to stop commenting on women’s bodies, or pitting them against each other. She just wants her cake and eat it. I want this lavish lifestyle and I want to be hot and people to only say I look hot. So shallow and superficial.

You can’t blame Caroline for the industry she worked for. If anything she was the one making it a kinder place. Don’t assume about her (alleged) drug use either. Sometimes bring in the spotlight can cause such extreme lows, celebs self medicate with drugs, doesn’t mean they are bad people. I can guarantee she was kinder, and touched more lives than most

When I first read her statement, I thought - gosh, an accident! And then I remembered every single abusive relationship I’ve been in, where it was always an “accident” We definitely don’t know what happened but I find seeing LB’s head-wound offensive, if he was a women we would be up in arms. Fact is - it looks pretty deep, could be hiding more and for her to have hit his head - he must have been lying or sitting down... it’s all very sad and I feel weirdly obsessed by it all. She must have been in such an awful state :(
I feel weirdly obsessed by it all too. No other celebrity death has affected me like Caroline's has. I don't mind admitting that I cried my little heart out on the Sunday. X

I have felt very torn over this whole thing. Something didn’t feel right about jumping on the band wagon with everyone else and trying to blame the media, the CPS and anyone else that was involved in this case.
It’s unbelievably tragic what has happened to her, really tragic but She clearly was no angel, sounds like she was extremely manipulative to all of her much younger boyfriends and they probably felt well out of their depth to deal with her. She needed medical intervention but by all accounts it seems she refused it if the reports are true. Perhaps admitting she had a mental health problem she thought would end her career, and maybe she was right. Would ITV have been supportive?

someone mentioned that when she took the overdose the night before she died she refused to go to hospital again. At this point she probably should have been sectioned.

I find this just a little strange from her ex Andrew Brady. He’s also written a statement and opened a just giving page. He’s really not considering her family or Lewis Burton at all.

and his statement

Personally, I don’t think he’s really thinking with a sound mind at the moment. He’s understandably, and clearly, very hurt and affected by her death, and he’s been very vocal with saying he’s feeling guilty for his part in it. I’m viewing it like he’s lashing out because he’s hurting. He’s looking for answers cos he feels helpless, angry and guilty.

Did you read his post on his site? I find it interesting that despite his phone being switched off for months, and despite not being able to face reading any reports, he called Dan Wooton out for his part to play - we, as people who have read up on it all, know that DW has been trying to cover his tracks by deleting the Sun articles about her when she passed, among other beyond disgusting things he’s done. I found it interesting that AB knew, without actually knowing. Does that make sense?

He’s also blamed her management and called them out as well for their part.

Reading it was hard because it’s so clear he’s feeling raw emotions and he’s feeling horrible amounts of guilt for what he did.

I don’t agree that he isn’t considering her family or Lewis, I think he’s just speaking out about a situation he was once a part of, and in some ways I don’t feel it’s any different to what Kerry Katona, Nicola McClean and other ‘celebs’ have been doing.

Sorry if this may have come across as waffly x

Of course there is definitely police officer mistakes and corruption. You only have to look at Hillsborough or the Stuart Lubbock case to see that.
I just think if there is any suggestion if that, it needs to be raised with the independent police complaints commission and the CPS rather than Carolines management team throwing these theories about, which people pick up on and start to believe. It doesn’t help with the media stories nor her families suffering.

I do think the police and CPS are dammed either way though. The public want more prosecutions of domestic violence, we are dismayed when we see the figures of how many people die at the hands of their partners. Then when we see this unfortunate case play out, people are saying oh no the police and criminal justice system are too tough, she should have never been prosecuted etc etc. Do we, as a public want to be tough of crime or not? No wonder politicians make bad laws off the back of knee jerk public reactions.

I do actually think one of her twin sister's children has experienced this.
Correct- but they keep it very private, which is why it's so angering to see him putting a spotlight on it now. Of course people are going to question it, they must be livid over him!

If she had put this out it wouldn't have changed anyone's opinion and that's a fact. It's easy to think now after what's happened that the public would have had sympathy.

But the big question is why did Lewis tell the 999 controller that she was trying to kill him and that she got him on the head with a lamp. If it was all one big misunderstanding he must be feeling pretty shit right now because that phonecall kicked the whole thing off.wull we ever know the truth now.

She came over as being rather unpleasant and I got the impression that she would revell in others' misfortune, a school bully type of woman. As with a lot of bullies when the tables were turned she lost it completely. She said a few years ago after winning Strictly that she became very depressed and that her friends found her very draining, yes people can be draining and she sounds pretty self obsessed she really should have seen a professional counsellor/therapist its not as if she couldn't afford it. I am sorry she felt so wretched that she hung herself but I refuse to accept that was a martyr.
