I wonder from reading least the start of chapter 10 in her book actually where she says something about having an arguement (not trying to minimalise it at all here as some symptoms of it can be extremely dangerous) Borderline Personality Disorder, not wanting to put things like essentially diagnose someone but it's the kind of behaviour thats typical of that condition. Where having an argument (wasn't or can't remember who she was with at the time) but having an argument saying leave then and they did, and feeling really down about it afterwards not feeling like they'd actually do it.

Can't say for certain as I am not a psychiatrist of any description whatsoever just screamed that to me personally.
A lot of people on this thread have had the same idea about BPD so you're not alone in that thought. We will never know now. It does all seen to point that way

In one video clip I've seen, she is talking to Kathy Burke ( actress) and she says she once pleaded with an ex not to leave and said she would give up her career if he'd stay with her. She then said how ridiculous it was to offer to do that. Going to extremes to stop someone leaving like that does seem to fit with BPD where you have an extreme fear of abandonment. It's a key feature of B.P.D.
Because of that, the person will do crazy and extreme things which actually just scares people away. Then they get depressed.

"Another BPD symptom that particularly impacts relationships is called abandonment sensitivity.1 This can lead those with BPD to be constantly watching for signs that someone may leave them and to interpret even a minor event as a sign that abandonment is imminent. The emotions may result in frantic efforts to avoid abandonment, such as pleading, public scenes, and even physically preventing the other person from leaving"

We all say and do stupid things during arguments. It doesn’t mean we have BPD. If there is an ongoing pattern of behaviour that could be a problem. We can speculate all we want, but none of us is qualified to make a diagnosis. One thing is clear, people who take their own lives are clearly not well.

I see there hasn’t been any mention in the media about her funeral, maybe a bit of a media blackout to respect the family 😔

She shared one a couple of days after Caroline died where she sounded drunk imo. It was CF saying how great Ashley is and then telling her to come over. She’s posted a few others but tbh it’s mostly Ashley blowing smoke up her own a. Didn’t seem sincere.
It was on her insta stories, CF was very slurry and calling her beautiful and lovely and asking her to come over. She was definitely pissed or under the influence of something else.

Feeling really bad for Caroline with the amount of "friends" who won't stop using her name and sharing private messages from her to get their own fifteen minutes. Disgusting.

If I was Caroline’s family and friends, I’d never forgive Andrew. What a snake in a grass. How can he gush about her having the biggest heart then write that post about her being toxic and adding fire to the flames. He used her for fame when he came out of the big brother house.

Hopefully after her funeral this will stop. Even after she took her own life to escape these parasites still want a piece of her.

I’ve not posted on this thread before, hi all x

I don’t have much time for LD but I thought this was a very valid point in that article

‘I would ask that we also consider our ability to accept contradiction, complexity and grey areas in the women we idolise, and consider the violence of suspending them in mid-air above us and then cutting the harness.

I’m definitely not aiming this at Tatler which I think is a very fair area. But the mainstream media are extremely guilty of this and turn women- particularly young pretty women- in to cartoons.
