I get the impression Caroline was very lonely leading up to her death and reaching out to the likes of Katona. I think many people in the industry stopped associating with her and it made her insecure.

Anyone find it funny how the press have purposely avoided reporting on the blog post Andrew Brady wrote on his website where he basically blasted certain papers and called out dan wootton in particular? Dan wootton seems to think he and Caroline were friends, he’s a liar. Even when I googled the blog it wasn’t easy for me to find even tho the website is literally Andrew-Brady .com! Head over there if you haven’t already read it, it’s an interesting and honest post.

Absolutely disgusted to see even more people using Caroline’s death, this time in an even worse context. This has got to be the absolute worst I’ve seen yet. Horrific
Caroline has carefully crafted a happy to lucky, care free version of herself when, the reality was far from that. I think her friends are probably trying to save that image as much as they can because they know how much she tried to hide it. From personal experience of my own family, hiding things and not discussing them only makes it worse. She even said in that post bless her. Brushing things under the carpet means they’re still there. Andrew Brady was engaged to her, he knew her bad side so of course her close friends and family don’t want that side shown.
Have just read it. It’s searingly honest and is obviously written from the heart.
When I see past interviews with Caroline it’s always answering very shallow questions about the industry, but I never felt any interview get deep with her. That quick, fast paced, bubbly disposition is great for tv but it was definitely not all of her personality.
And things like this are where the danger lies in elevating someone like Caroline Flack to angel status. People will regularly reference her to excuse their own crappy actions, because they've seen how people are defending her. It's wrong on so many levels.
If people want to protect the vulnerable, volunteer with a domestic violence or suicide/mental health charity. If you NEED a celebrity to reference when thinking how tragic suicide is, then Dale Winton or Verne Troyer are fairly recent victims.
But ffs people stop rushing in to protect someone who was violent and excusing all their bad behaviour, or you're going to have blood on your hands in the form of domestic violence victims too confused and terrified to speak up.

There’s a podcast with her on called in the pink where at around 50 minutes in she is saying the press is fine as long as they don’t really know what’s going on and how she’d feel like crying on red carpets but the press would never know as she just got on with her job

Maybe he did actually, I didn't follow his case at all, just saw some speculation at the time. My point remains though. If people need to find a celebrity that ended their own life to feel anything/promote awareness about suicide, there are far better examples of nice people than Caroline Flack.

I wonder from reading least the start of chapter 10 in her book actually where she says something about having an arguement (not trying to minimalise it at all here as some symptoms of it can be extremely dangerous) Borderline Personality Disorder, not wanting to put things like essentially diagnose someone but it's the kind of behaviour thats typical of that condition. Where having an argument (wasn't or can't remember who she was with at the time) but having an argument saying leave then and they did, and feeling really down about it afterwards not feeling like they'd actually do it.
Can't say for certain as I am not a psychiatrist of any description whatsoever just screamed that to me personally.
