I was thinking more of the ‘now she comes to me when she needs her head sorting out’ but yeah..can’t say I fell in love with any of my girl friends!

I remember Dawn did a tv programme called ‘Dawn goes les’ over ten year’s ago, and she ended up getting off with one of the girls
I said 'reportedly' - I've seen numerous claims (haven't you?) that she was drunk and high on alcohol and c, and was a known heavy user of both. I haven't seen anything which evidences that either way (I guess that would have come out at the trial), but on the other hand it tallies with the escalation of the scene, which seems highly unlikely if she was stone cold sober at the time.
DOP was in the uk for Xmas NY when CF went to LA, there might have been some cross over, but I think she might have referenced it, tbh if they’d spent time together. Dawn doing a lot with work/promoting/podcast/writing a new book, on top of family, I can imagine if there was a day or so it wouldn’t have worked. LA hideous to travel across. London hard enough! Pure speculation on my part anyway.
I do wonder how Caroline’s behaviour impacted her friends from 2010 era - those with kids and families and who aren’t chasing that romanticised “love” and fame... wonder what they really thought when she had yet ANOTHER decade younger “the one”. They must have known she was in some way fundamentally lacking. But now she’s gone shes being beatified, and no one feels able to say anything beyond “she wasn’t perfect”. Probably to protect the family more than anything.

DoP seems to me to be a woman in the middle of the grief cycle and has hit and stayed on anger for a while. I’m not going to judge her.

I agree with this. I do think they were friends from long ago. It must be very frustrating to see people sharing her private messages and not being able to stop them. I’d find it difficult not to address it if it were one of my friends. I think Dawn is quite right. Besides that, it is literally grave robbing in my opinion. Really unnecessary
I just struggle to see a huge difference between sharing a text that says ‘feeling sad’ and telling a long very detailed story on Twitter about how she stank after a festival 10 years ago and had to open the car window. It’s this constant we had a ball she was great fun and we laughed 24 hours a day picture that’s being painted because she wants to control the narrative.
Maybe Dawn is worrying that someone might share something damaging?
When the story broke about Caroline being arrested Dawn said "Woken up to some really hard news about my friend Caroline Flack. Who I love very very much. I will wait until I know the facts before I make a judgement, and I urge you to do the same. This cancel culture doesn’t help anyone. You weren’t there. You don’t know. That’s it".
Bizarre that she even posted that about her friend without getting the full story from Caroline herself and asking if she wanted her to go online defending her? Dawn has hated the Daily Mail for ages as people always comment on her hairstyle etc. I also remember on Twitter she hated any kind of criticism. A lot of these people in the public eye seem to think they're above any kind of criticism.
What were the voice notes Ashley James posted of Caroline? Have googled it but nothing comes up
I think the difference is that Dawn is sharing funny anecdotes about a friend who has passed away. She isn’t sharing private messages from Caroline that she sent during what we now know was a very troubling time for her. It’s not wrong to speak about Caroline under the right circumstances for the right reasons. It is wrong to violate the privacy of someone who was evidently suicidal
Dawn’s children’s names are Art (nice) and Valentine (why?).
Not sure what bearing that has on anything!
Maybe they named him after Val Doonican?! Although on her recent stories she said she loves Valentine's Day so maybe that's why? Dawn has her own thread if you want to ask this question on there as it's not really relevant to Caroline's thread!

I don’t think its Dawns place to call people out who had the right intentions, people grieve in different ways and I think Danny’s statement came from the right place
I also thought it was a strange message to post without speaking to her
I dont think people should be posting private messages but i feel as if Dawn could've messaged these people directly to explain how she felt instead of posting it on twitter while these people's intentions may not have been bad and didn't mean to cause any upset.

She shared one a couple of days after Caroline died where she sounded drunk imo. It was CF saying how great Ashley is and then telling her to come over. She’s posted a few others but tbh it’s mostly Ashley blowing smoke up her own a. Didn’t seem sincere.
