Oh right thanks. Very sad. From what I read on here, I understood that a family member found her suspended. When the police arrived, she was on her back and they started CPR.
The story has changed that is was neighbours that first found her, what’s actually true is another storyFrom what I read on here, I understood that a family member found her suspended. When the police arrived, she was on her back and they started CPR.
He’s a very talented rugby player (inc. ex-England), who’s had his fair share of negative press, which has likely affected his chances of being reselected for England (something many England rugby fans are annoyed about, because he’s a phenomenal talent and he could’ve been an asset to the squad on countless occasions). Is he jumping on the bandwagon or is he genuine? Thank you for that. That was really brave of him then to speak so openly. He’s a very talented rugby player (inc. ex-England), who’s had his fair share of negative press, which has likely affected his chances of being reselected for England (something many England rugby fans are annoyed about, because he’s a phenomenal talent and he could’ve been an asset to the squad on countless occasions).
I watched this earlier today and found it very moving and how open he was, to be a real surprise. I believe him to be genuine and don’t for a second think that he’s jumping on the Steph Davis PR-hungry train. He was in a relationship with Caroline for a time and remained close friends with her.
Thank you for that. That was really brave of him then to speak so openly.
Exactly what I've been thinkingWe have kept hearing how much she loved Love Island, how much it meant to her blah blah blah. But it's a programme based on manipulating fake relationships for tabloid fodder. That doesn't smack of kindness to me. And frankly I think she loved it because she could keep hanging about with young pretty party people. Caroline was a very talented dancer and singer, I've no idea why she pursued trashy reality tv when she had so much more potential.
Have you heard it?! It sounds like she's lifted the tune from Leona Lewis keep bleedingStephanie Davis releasing a song and singling about "will you take the easy way out? Or fight through this doubt?" In aid of Caroline and donating to a charity that "PREVENT SUICIDE!!!" tops of how ridiculous this is getting.

Buy her single, it'll make a change![]()
Yet Dan Wotton is adamant the Sun only ever printed articles in support of her and praising her and printed nothing damaging.Presumably, it’s for this reason:
‘A Guardian analysis shows the Sun published the most articles mentioning Flack in the six months before her death – with a total of 99.
The figure is around a quarter of the 387 stories published in print by all of the UK’s national newspapers in the same period.
A review of the stories shows that a quarter of all these articles took a negative tone, slightly higher than those with a positive tone, which accounted for 18% of the total.’
I hope things are better for you now Katie and am very sorry to hear about what you went through.I don't want to like go against anyone on youtube or where ever but hearing about her death brought back the things especially when someone said 'she felt like a burden' was exactly how I felt when essentially with the intention of going self employed, only all the work stuff I'd set up (that would have set me up for least three months) all fell apart, with a huge amount of pressure least two CCJ's against me plus a Liability Order for the non-payment of council tax I essentially cracked.
What I realised was a mental break down, essentially was very close to necking all the Nytol sleeping pills almost the entire packet of them which is what I had left.
Though with what she was dealing with all the pressure of the media I'd have probably have done the very same.
Not to say people don't know what they're talking about but in reality until you're faced with a situation like that (where there's too much pressure you can't handle) simply its indescribable how awful it is.
Exactly what I've been thinking
I'm no legal expert I would think she might have got a fine and community service, like that man did. I'm sure her legal team would have advised of this which is why I think she was more afraid of the footage coming out of her acting violently.Hello Tattle peeps,
I’m a new poster here, have been following these threads on Caroline with interest. What a tragic turn of events.
This newspiece has just flashed up on my phone - granted it’s not a DV case, but the sentencing, considering he attacked 4 people without provocation, seems pretty lenient (4 charges of assault by beating, resulting in a 12-month community order and 100-hours of unpaid work). Wasn’t this the same crime that Caroline was charged with? Makes you wonder what the outcome would’ve been, had she been found guilty, although given that hers was a high-profile DV case, they may have made more of an example of her?

I wasn’t listening properly as I was distracted but they were just reporting on it at Sky News. I thought they said Danny said she called him on the Friday evening before she died and she also left voice mail telling him they shared so much .You’re welcome.I agree, especially coming from a very macho, full-contact sport where “banter” is the order of the day. Aside from the conversation around Caroline, I know that there are moves being made to address player mental health and the need to talk, so I think that Danny speaking out in such an honest, heartfelt way will be enormously helpful.
If those sources (!!) and the Sun (debateable!) are to be trusted, that’s truly awful. I thought she’d misinterpreted his texts with an older tennis client as being something more, but maybe there was a lot more to this than her MH and trolling in that case. I agree that whatever happened, having her life subjected to yet more scrutiny in court must have left her feeling like she had nowhere else to turn and only one option. So very sad.I'm no legal expert I would think she might have got a fine and community service, like that man did. I'm sure her legal team would have advised of this which is why I think she was more afraid of the footage coming out of her acting violently.
I don't believe sentencing would hinge on trying to make an example of her for being famous, she was being charged for her actions only.
I've also seen a story that came out at the start of Feb about Lewis Burton messaging other women and it saying how Caroline was at 'Rock bottom' If it was true, that means maybe she felt the way she did because of that and not the press hounding her.
I'm suspicious where the 'sources' came from anyway because if she was always paranoid about him cheating it could have come from her again, to make him look bad in the press or even by her team to make her look like there were mitigating factors for the assault. He may have wanted to split and then changed his mind as she did too when she was alive.
"WhatsApp messages he sent to another woman show the part-time male model declaring himself romantically available.
In one message — widely shared among a group of friends and seen by The Sun on Sunday — he said: “Me and Caroline don’t go out anymore."

Oh gosh that sounds so heartfelt. I’m welling up here .
Oooh. He is calling people out for their behaviour with the tributes etc!
I do feel sincerely concerned for Lewis's wellbeing - he's definitely gotten attacked over this. And the whole belittling of the alleged assault is worrying to me, for anyone thinking of calling the police in the futureI feel for Lewis. Feeling resentment is a normal part of the grieving process but I can imagine this emotion will be amplified because essentially some people are blaming him for her death. I think down the line he’s going to need a lot of help to walk through this. I can see him getting aggrieved and like “hang on, she attacked me. Now I’m the bad guy”..
Grief is surprising in the variety of emotions it can bring to the surface. You access a level of pain and a range of feelings you never even knew existed. I hope he has good support around him, both now and down the line.
I thought this too.Another slightly morbid question but my curiosity is at me. The blood from the image of the bed that’s circulating, apparently is Caroline’s from her wrist wounds. That’s a lot of blood to lose from your wrists no? She’s lucky she didn’t end up dead that night
I weirdly feel very connected to it as well - that awful word triggering in part for my own depression too and also having been in DV relationships. I find the whole #bekind thing horrific. Firstly she didn't write that quote! And also, I just think it fuels into hiding the fact that this all stemmed from a serious allegation... I really worry for LB and that we're taking DV back about 100 years...I am struggling with this it's on my mind all the time and I feel like I can't just leave it alone. I don't know why. Anyone else feel very connected to the situation? I don't want to make this about me but I have mental health issues and have attempted suicide before so I get that it's partly triggering (hate that word) for me to be hearing about it alot. Also a deep sadness for Caroline and her family/friends although I feel like I am slowly seeing the side that some of you do. That we can't just all start blaming cps police and the charges against her. It's difficult though because I know what it's like to feel that way of course my first reaction is to empathise with her but now I do think of people I know who have went though DV and imagine if that was the person who hurt them being celebrated. Also people say it doesn't matter about the truth now but I've heard so many stories from the blood was hers and she was in the middle of a mental health episode and he called police for her own safety and in her anger threw it am him to her attacking him while asleep and which is very different although not defending either I think the facts are important still.
When I first heard the news I did go down the #BeKind pictures and posts and I now see plenty people getting #BeKind tattoos, writing poems about the situation (as someone who writes I have done this), drawing Caroline, making their own tribute videos and own fundraising events in her name. I know people think these influencers are wrong for what they are doing as it seems for likes/exposure but what about the general public? Should they be doing all this or do you all think it's too much?
