I'm surprised the boyfriend hasnt turned the comments off on his Instagram..can you do that once comments have started to be added?!

I think this comment has been deleted. Could quite possibly be a load of baloney as anyone can say anything on the internet.

Anyone else feel like the boyfriend might actually be enjoying a bit of publicity?

Yes I get that feeling too BUT I kind of feel most men wouldn’t want to shout about the fact they’ve been attacked by their girlfriend

The Mail on Sunday claims that she has gone to LA on the advice of "her rock" Russell Brand so that she can "clear her head". I am sure she and him had some kind of sex thing going on years ago!! Her boyfriend was the one who rang the cops and instigated all this and now he claims she didn't hit him and that the copious blood on the sheets were hers and not his so why did he tell the cops that she had tried to kill him, he has done a massive U turn and if she is innocent he has done huge damage to her as a person and to her career.

He was treated for a head injury. There is no way he was lying at the time of the call. Domestic abuse cases are so difficult to get through CPS, if CPS is going a victimless prosecution then there must be enough evidence to secure a conviction. The CPS will not take a case even with a victim to court unless they are confident that there will be a conviction and it's in the public's best interest.

Again if it was a man who do this we wouldn't be having this conversation!

You are missing the point, if he was injured by her why then yes he was right to ring the cops for his own protection and get treated why is he NOW going around publicly saying that she didn't hurt him and claiming that she is the love of his life. If she attacked him and he thought she was going to murder him, should he not keep his mouth shut until the trial?

I think in most DV cases it's quite common for women to change their mind after an arrest, then it's "he didn't really mean it" "I got confused/the wrong end of the stick" etc because they've been manipulated and beaten down so often they think it's their fault and that they're ruining their partners lives! I've heard before "he didn't mean it, he loves me so much he just lost it and is going to get help".

So I think it's a case of that, but in this case it's a male victim instead of a woman.

This is so true. I know from experience 20 years when an Ex split my head open in a jealous rage. By the time we’d arrived at the hospital to get it stapled back together he was so sorry, it was my fault, and I had changed my story to being drunk and slipping in the shower. The next day he bought me a ring to ‘show how much he loved me’. Absolutely crazy behaviour when I look back, but after leaving the relationship and getting help, I pin realised this is not unusual.

I'm glad you left and got help, this is unfortunately not common and happens far too often.
Sometimes people just don't realise until it's far too late, and it's so easy for outsider's looking in to say "just leave, I'd never let anyone do that to me, etc etc" but 99% of the time the abused doesn't really see that they're in an abusive relationship until much later, if at all 😢

I've just had a look at his IG profile and it disgusts me how many people are attacking him for protecting her. He might be being naive but there's absolutely no need for the victim blaming. I suppose they'll say he deserved to be beaten up??

No I don't think anyone should attack a 'victim' but he has behaved very oddly posting the bedroom pic etc, particularly when he stated it WASN'T his blood, giving the impression it's hers, fuelling rumours etc. I am making no excuse for CF, given my opinion of her before this was low and that she was a manipulator. I have no doubt the allegations of violence are correct.
Having sat in a 3 week trial as a jury member of women that were abused and grape by one man whilst in a relationship with him over a 30 year period, I've heard first hand how a victim can change stories to protect an aggressor before (if they can ever) be strong enough and free enough to break away. 😥 He's either that or seeing his meal ticket gp down the drain has made him panic. I have not one ounce of sympathy for Flack. Not one bit.

You clearly don't understand abuse. I was abused (sexually and physically) as a teenager, the police got involved after me disclosing the abuse. To the police and everyone else I said I had lied, I pretended I never said certain things, I sat in police video interviews and lied, I lied to social workers. I thought my abuser loved me and I did everything I could do to protect him and I made myself out to be the bad person. I made stories up about how certain pieces of evidence came about. Victims will go to any length to protect their abuser if they are still being abused. My old best friend was beaten up while 32 weeks pregnant by her boyfriend, she thankfully managed to ring the police and ambulance at that point she told them what happened. The next day at the hospital the police came to take a statement and she said it was a miss understanding, that she had tripped at the top of the stairs and fell down them. Sadly you cannot believe a victim when they change their story. Abuse is horrific and it's never just physical. It's also emotional/psychological, the power the abuser holds over you is insane, you aren't yourself anymore, you are an extension of the abuser, you are their puppet. For me, if the police, social services, teachers and youth workers listened and accepted my lies I would probably be dead right now.

We can't judge a victims behaviour, everyone reacts differently, in this case it's national headlines, to protect her he must make it public. Some of the things I did looking back was bat tit crazy.

Because she is his meal ticket in my opinion and he's struggling to get back in her good books on that gravy train. He seems not to have a 'proper job'. He claims he'a tennis coach and is signed to a model agency but I think that gig is due to who he is with rather than based on his looks as he's not exactly a stunner. His job this past year appears to be being available 24/7 as an entertainer to Flackers. On yachts and beaches and often papped arguing publicly.Which is very telling. If you are OK with screaming heeby-jeeby public spats then hell knows what happens behind closed doors.Well, we know now actually.
He's panicking because he has caused her downfall by simply seeking help when he was being battered by a she-devil and they both know it.There is no way back from this.Just like Cheryl multiname will forever be linked to battering a toilet attendant, so Flackers will forever be linked to battering her sleeping bloke.

I’ve been following this thread for a while and it’s interesting seeing this case as someone who has been on the receiving end of abuse. My abuse was from my mother and even though I cut contact with her and detest her for what she did to me she is also the person I love the most in this world. I miss her because it’s all I knew and miss the cycle of abuse too as at least she was in my life. You form a trauma bond with your abuser and it’s so hard not to go back to her. I still protect her now and play down what she did to me to protect her. I care about her and this will never change. So unless you’ve been there it’s hard to explain. Everything is speculation right now but it’s entirely plausible that he loves her very much and protecting her outweighs protecting himself. It’s all very sad whatever the outcome of this
