Sorry if this is off topic but I started watching her vlogs and I honestly thought the kids were her grandkids she must have had them late or she is just old looking ..She seems passive aggressive also !

She is! And I'm not sure on rules of the area but she's on the end/corner but there's very little room to extend and the side they could slightly go out is not the side they would be able to as its the cupboard
I can’t remember his exact job but would Steve not know about planning/extending in the area?? apparently blocking light isn’t a good enough excuse to be denied planning anymore but her garden is tiny, maybe they’re going out the front/side for a small add on??
They definitely can't go out the front in the area they're in, and I don't think the side would be possible either! And they're attached on the other side
