What kind of gig is she at where there isn’t cheering/chanting between songs? OCS aren’t some tiny, morose, Indie band where people are taking the music super seriously, they’re the only gig I’ve been to where you’d be judged for being a drunken mess.

Maybe I’ve read this the wrong way, a comment I saw earlier (and also I’ve seen in past threads) about Ethan being sensitive or different and then relating that to him being gay (and I’m not having a go at anyone). I don’t know if he’s gay or not, but I DO know that his mother calls him sensitive.
He probably is sensitive but if she’s comparing him to HERSELF (and remember she’s a narcissistic, shell of a human, incapable of empathy) then yes, that could be classed as sensitive.

Emma Conway probably does think that he’s gay. He’s different to her. She sees his sensitivity as a weakness and she preys on it. I personally don’t think he’s gay. I think he acts like a baby to try and get attention from his mom.

And as for the sibling rivalry, well that’s completely normal when you have a narcissistic Mom. She pits them against each other.

Totally agree with you. But, she would love him to be gay. Makes her a bit different ( in her own head ). Just like Erin is a 3x threat, Ethan has to have something to give him an edge. That’s how her brain works. Poor children. They’re both nice little children, honestly though she will turn them into her.

It was my comment. And I probably didn’t express myself well. Obviously a child being sensitive etc doesn’t atomically mean they’re gay. My issue is she publicly puts it out there that it’s a possibility with him and only for likes and engagement. She’s posted LGBTQ+ things in relation to E before. She is constantly saying how “different” he is because she is in control of everything they do. If she eased up she’d discover he was just as average as all other kids his age and that narrative doesn’t get her the likes she so desperately seeks.

I don’t think Ethan will be like her. He already shows signs of empathy by refusing meat products - and at the age of 8 too. I do think Erin will be a twit when she grows up. I already don’t like her and I’ve said before she acts like a lot of the girls in my own kids class. My child avoids that type of person (loud, attention seeking, thinks she’s something special).

Yeah, it’s been mentioned before too. I often can’t put into words what i mean and so it comes out wrong or I unintentionally offend someone. I agree with what you’re saying. She says he’s sensitive and different and implying that he may be gay, I think.

I also agree that I think that this is what she wants. So she can then say her daughter is the triple threat and now she has a gay son - when in actuality he’s just hurting from being unloved by his own Mother and his Father is an enabler that says nothing.

Ethan looked great, which made me immediately go “wow Ste has some skill”. I also think he did Erin’s because I do not for one minute believe she wouldn’t have set the camera up balanced on something and filmed getting Erin ready if she had really done it. We went from “going to do it” to done with no footage. I call bullshit and Ste being handy with a makeup brush!

For me personally it was the calling him different against a photo of his wearing a princess dress. That's not being different, that's being a child and playing dress up.

If anything it doesn't noramalise girls and boys not conforming to a stereotype. Its not a "yeah my son chooses to wear dresses sometimes and what?" and it was more of "my son is different for wearing a dress" - and she got praised in the comments for this! She's pushing her narrative to her followers on an innocent child.

i mean, yeah - IF she did it. last friday, she made a huge deal in her stories about how she was going to have to drag herself out of bed to prepare the make up and hair spray for erin's costume, and then let everyone know that SHE had done a great job. today, however the focus is ON the emails that ethan supposedly sent, and then her stories cut to ethan all ready in his costume - no documentation of the process, or any mention of the hard work or effort SHE had to put in to create it. the cynic in me thinks that she left ste to sort out ethan's face paint, especially considering how bad we know she is at applying make up on her own face, and erin's costume last week consisted of babs smudging purple eyeshadow over her nose and spraying her hair with blue hairspray, i can't imagine her sitting and having the patience to create all those little wrinkles etc on ethan's face. fair play to her if she did, but it just seems a little off that she isn't basking in glory at what SHE has achieved, which kinda implies that it wasn't her who actually did it.

i guess we'll find out if it's all documented in this week's vlog - but possibly not, because although erin's birthday had an entire vlog dedicated to it, ethan's was skipped over, so featuring his world book day costume - despite his excitement - probably won't be a priority. i wonder if we'll hear how happy, happy, HAPPY he was with his costume, as we did for erin, repeatedly.

last week's post for erin: "this one was OVER THE MOON for mummy to shove a load of make up on her face, let her wear blue nail varnish to school and dye her hair blue! I'm making the most of it while i can. What a ruddy beauty!" compared to ethan's: "HE planned HIS idea for so long. HE emailed all the family to take part in a vote. HE was fully invested."

don't get me wrong, his costume is great and it's lovely to see him smiling, but i kinda get the impression that babs was far more invested in erin's costume and pretty much left ethan to fend for himself. lucky for him, because he's a creative kid and probably devised a better costume than whatever toddler-appropriate costume babs would have enforced on him, but it just highlights the difference between her relationship with the golden child and that with ethan.

and whilst i don't believe he created a poll for the family to vote in - or bloody "posters" (?!) - i can imagine him resorting to emailing his family for advice, because he probably asked babs which character he should be, and she angrily dismissed for. interrupting her netflix time, him with a "go ask your dad". poor kid.
