Just wanted to add that a narcissist would never admit that they needed therapy. Unless they are a clever narcissist and are using it for content to recieve more admiration and money.

When she fucks up and says things like 'if youre feeeling sad..etc, etc' its because she does not know how to empathise. As someone said earlier, she is a shell of human. There is nothing inside of her but love and admiration for herself. I know that Erin is her golden child but if one day Erin sees through her bullshit, that admiration will stop. Erin will most likely grow up to be a twit as well.
And well, her little boy will still be that "sensitive" boy hes always been because he knows what its like to be treated like garbage by his own mother.

She's desperate to be seen as this quirky, liberated, legendary Mother. She has actually said this in her past grid captions
(not word for word, of course) This is how she wants her children to see her when they look back.
I also think this house she just bought is probably the nicest (to her) shes ever had and so shes getting it ready to show off to all the people she'll be inviting over after lockdown.

I was like Ethan, the scapegoat, raised by a mother just like Emma. I am excellent at presentation because it was how i tried to impress my own mother. It obviously never worked but i know how to cover tit up so it looks good to the outside people. My house is beautiful and i always make sure i look nice when i leave the house but inside im filled with anxiety (am i good enough?) Its all bleeping pretending.

Emmas worst nightmare will possibly Ethan - an educated empath. She already sees him as weak and sensitive. Hes on his way...

her specialist subject would be the narcissist topic of choice: Emma Conway herself, obvs. but even then, she wouldn't do well because her life is so twisted up in a web of lies she wouldn't be able to distinguish between things that actually happened in her life and separate the truth from all the exaggerations and embellishments and dramatics.

she may have a masters, but her specialist topic definitely would NOT be RE! "i was 42 years old when i learnt that not everyone celebrates Christmas!"
