trust babs to INVENT a wear to wear a frock because it means she can buy a size 16 and brag about it.
the dress looks awful on her, and the way it is styled on the model clearly highlights that it is supposed to be a loose fitted dress, yet babs has interpreted an intentionally oversized style as an opportunity to "size down", squidging her bulk into a too-small dress and whacking a belt so tight around her gunt that she is struggling to stand up straight, let alone how uncomfortable she will feel later when she attempts to gurn and high kick around the dance floor, wearing a dress so stretched. it's clear that the seams are almost bursting, and wouldn't surprise me if they split mid-twerk - hopefully after she has hauled herself on the bar to emulate her "wallflower" days. even the tie at the neckline, babs has been forced to leave it undone, as the dress is far too small and so ill-fitting that tying it would likely cut off the blood supply to her head, and then it wouldn't be just a "numb foot" she has to worry about.
*note that she is rolling out the "numb foot" story again - although she seems to have forgotten that she initially claimed it meant she could only wear flat shoes, but now means she is able to wear low heels as long as the shoes are tightly strapped to her trotters
- despite recently claiming her injury as totally cured in response to concerned babettes wanting her to be careful with her high kicks and clambering into kitchen worktops! a "long story" we will no doubt have to hear again when she later claims she received loads of DMs from curious babattes who somehow missed the elaborate and dramatic twerking/back injury/tampon changing tale.
