It is SO bizarre to think Emma puts so much emphasis on labels. My mother had 4 children and we all called her something different. We all addressed her cards differently and she enjoyed it (thought it was funny). As children we adopt varying nicknames for people we love. Who cares? It's no ones business.
If Emma's "logic" is true than how does the school district handle grandmother's labels? On my street alone we have Nanas, Grammys, Memeres and Ya-yas. I am sure I am missing some
It's not as if Birmingham is a village comprised of individuals who have existed there homogenously for centuries. It is the second largest city in the UK. Surely her statement cannot be true? Unless, maybe, her daughter goes to a secular school that prohibits diversity to some extent? If that's the case, I would not take too kindly to where their moral compass is heading.
I think there is a whiff of B/S permeating her posts.
