She’s hardly lost her voice. She could have done the talk. I had a teacher who lost her voice for a week and still managed to teach all her classes.
Ive never known someone make such a big deal out of having a simple cold, don’t we all have atleast one or two in the winter?Difference is most people have things they have to get on which acts as a distraction. It just shows how little she does when her main focus in the day is that she has a sore throat.

No. I have been at work with 5 lessons with 30 loud teenagers in each. I have been taking paracetamol and getting on with it.
I don’t want sympathy as THIS IS THE REALITY OF LIFE.
I don’t have a cruise to go on next week for free to recuperate.
I don’t ‘own’ a house and doss in someone else’s while my partner ‘renovates it’.
I don’t ring my mum to come and do my washing up.
