Marvel is ridiculously expensive for what it is so that suits Boregan's philosophy perfectly: always pay way more than is necessary.
I wonder if it'll come down in price a bit once the novelty has worn off and the DLP Hotel opens again. I do hope so, I genuinely don't understand how it justifies the huge price differential between it and Newport Bay.

I've seen loads of room tours of Marvel and I just don't get it at all. Just looks like a basic hotel room to me. "Ooh but look at the original artwork" they say but that is is no way worth paying the four or five times the cost of Cheyenne IMO. Cheyenne has wonderful theming and lovely rooms. I'd rather stay there longer and more often and walk the extra 5 minutes thanks very much.
I’ve been in and out of Victoria’ Disney in detail thread for a while,and I can honestly say that even though she’s clearly lazy, her stuff is still better than Brog’s, at least she makes an effort with clothes, hair make up etc, and doesn’t patronise the duck out of her followers
I have to agree about the ridiculously high price for the art of marvel hotel. I priced it up not long ago and actually cannot believe how much they charge and I was looking in one of the quietest times too. I’ve stayed in a few of the cheaper ones and honestly at the end of the day, if you’re doing Disney at full pace you only sleep in the room. The beds, duvets and pillows are all the same.

Who could be arsed going going all the way to Paris to Disney weeks after you spent £9k in Florida? There’s an entire world to see, literally go see the city of Paris, visit the museums and art galleries or just stroll around, it’s an amazing city, I cannot for the life of me understand the constant chasing of “magic”.
Same! I’ve made a list of the rides that are unique to Tokyo Disney so I do those before the ones that are the same as WDW. Plus I’m only going there 2 days out of 15 in Japan so it’s definitely not the focus of my trip.
The only ones who stayed at Marvel and it made sense to me were the Misters for David’s 40th last fall. They’re big Marvel fans and it was a special occasion. No way I would pay those prices unless it was a special occasion for a friend or family member.

and she’s still probably leave the baby at the hospital after!i used to watch her packing videos for ideas and because I’m nosy about what people pack etc. soon realised shes unorganised and incredibly insecure and i she’s the last person to take any sort of life advice from!

Her packing videos are crap and always the same. She packs far too much so it's not helpful at all... it's not a special skill to shove far too much into packing cubes and a million zip lock bags.

I booked it when it first opened last year for £240 a night. Looking at the prices now it’s shocking, not worth it at all. Would rather go to Aulani
