I went to watch Paul last night and he was alright but not great. He just can’t hit the notes anymore and read virtually every lyric from his ipad.

It was really good to hear the songs live again but i wouldn’t go and see him again.

I’m 41 and i deffo felt like the youngest in the room I don’t remember feeling young at the gigs and meet & greets 26 years ago but maybe i was

Oasis peaked after Definitely Maybe. That was a great little album. Everything else has been bloated and coke-tastic since then, and the sibling rivalry schtick is boring now.

I am certainly more Blur than Oasis but I will still go just for the nostalgia. I had Definitely Maybe on tape back in the 90’s.

I may be in the minority but i couldn’t care less about an Oasis reunion.

For me, the second Oasis album was when Britpop started to fragment and descend into boring Campaign for Real Rock throwback stuff.

I’d love to go for the nostalgia if they did reform - however, if the Stone Roses gigs were anything to go by, they’ll be ruined by 18 year old bucket hat mats who think they invented having a good time !

They have tons of great B-Sides that they should have put on albums.

I wonder whether it'll be the Britpop 95 lineup with Bonehead, Guigsy & Alan White? I imagine the promoters will throw the most money at that one. I assume they've all been in a rehearsal room together to see whether they still play & can get along ? Otherwise it's pointless.

If you're in the minority, I'll join you as I feel the same It's great for folk who were into them and I did love the first two albums as a young 'un, but I definitely prefer my Britpop without the laddy flavour. I'm excited on other folks' behalf though!

I'd love to get tickets to oasis but I'll probably fail especially as I think it'll be harder than Taylor swift and I failed at that . If it's true I'll be booking the dates off work asap just in case I get lucky. I loved the Stone Roses live didn't get the hate I saw online. I saw Liam Gallagher live a few years ago, always wanted to see Noel as I prefer his individual music to Liam's. Seen both Heaton Park and the Etihad as potential places in Manchester wonder which they'll go for. Or if they can recreate the stone roses at spike island that'll be better for me .
Someone posted these as potential wembley dates but the end of June one would be Glastonbury which is a rumour they'll be there so I think that is probably the least likely

I'm the same. I loved Definitely Maybe and What's The Story. They were two albums I played all the way through and never skipped. I even paid £20+ for a copy of the Wibbling Rivalry CD from HMV where they are doing an interview and Noel is pissed so it ends up in an argument. When Be Here Now came out...for me, whatever I liked about them wasn't there anymore.

Part of me does wonder if it will go ahead. With their history, I wouldn't put it past one of them sniping during the rehearsals and the other one getting pissed and walking.

There'll be too much money tied up in it to not go ahead. I have no inside knowledge about it all but can't see how it could be anything else but Liam & Noel back together again.

I much prefer Blur but I'm sure Oasis could sell out more nights at a London stadium.

If Noel’s up for it now because of his divorce, it’s testament to how much Liam wants it. In the reversed position Noel blanked him didn’t he? Which Paul said was unbrotherly and was when I realised it was Noel that was the right git out the 2 of em (not to say Liam isn’t difficult).

I shall have a bash at going. I saw them a few times and it was always good times. That Blur v Oasis thing got on my nerves - in any event I always thought Blur were drippy mats. Walked away from them at the Isle of Wight, dull as.
