Finished it, and I admit I was too hasty slagging off Eloise and the historical bits and bobs. It was brill and just whats been needed in the cold wintery lockdown! The Queen was my favourite character and I guessed the Lady W part way through. Looking forward to S2.
Definitely worth a watch, i personally loved an insight into the 'season' and courting, I've no idea if its historically correct etc but I enjoyed it.
The Duke much better with his clothes on, I found him much more intimidating (in a sexy way)
The scene, I agree with the above spoiler, he could have controlled that situation rightly.
Nice bit of binge watching but easily forgettable, I did fast forward a few parts.

I watched the first 2 last night and I love it. I keep gasping when I recognise the actors - 2 of them from Line of Duty. It's great.

I loved Bridgerton so much! Loved Pen. Didn’t like Marina at all and I loved Benedict and Eloise! And the queen too.
I hope this propels both Daphne and the Duke in their careers and I can’t wait for next season.

I'm gutted I've watched it....because I wish I could re watch it as if I hadn't! Watched it all pretty much in one go...loved the Duke, have to be brutally honest sorry, couldn't see the appeal of the lead actress...yes she's pretty! But all the men were swooning couldn't see why? Anyways I didn't guess who the mystery writer was and didn't suspect at all! Any suggestions on anymore period dramas gratefully received!

I've only seen the first episode and I LOVED the Queen. Really howled with laughter at the way she was slumped on the throne bored out of her brain by all the girls being presented.
He really is!
Can't wait for more. Was slightly disappointed at the reveal of Lady Whistledown tbh and unlike most I hadn't already guessed
