I read Evidence of the affair by Taylor Jenkins Reid last night. I didnt realise it was a short story / novella. It was a nice short read though.
Yeah I didn't enjoy it, I felt like it took too long to get anywhere. It sort of aimlessly wanders for the first 100+ pages

Yes! I really enjoyed it! Super atmospheric
I have. It took me a while to get into it but loved it.
Hated it. Weak plot, hateful characters and really, really basic.

I really liked the first half. Found it quite engrossing. But it took a nose dive from then. Just meandered all over the place - as if she didn't know where it was going or how to end it. So much so when the twist appeared I couldn't care less.
I guessed the twist when I read the synopsis tbh.
Finished John Marrs - The One at the weekend, really enjoyed! Onto Lucy Foley - The Guest List now

I enjoyed it but can totally understand why people didn’t. It was a book that helped me get over my ridiculously long reading slump and regularly reading again.Good luck
