Just finished listening to Rewitched. I really enjoyed it. Definitely a slow start and I’m sure I zoned out a couple of times (might need to relisten) but it picked up in the second half and was a lovely cozy listen 
How far through are you? I gave it 4*s but I seem to recall getting into it quite early on so if you’re struggling it might be worth leaving it and picking something up you’d enjoy more?
I’m about 30%…I think I’ve just been too tired etc for it and need something a bit more simple

Reading a holly Wilde book at work today and my, very much older than me, colleague keeps looking at me like

I've just finished The Last Thing To Burn by Will Dean. It was sooooo good, so well written and really quite unsettling as you can imagine that that sort of thing really does happen irl
I haven't Unleashed myself on the Bo Jo book yet. I thought I'd have a light refresher with Vanessa (the undresser) Feltz's autobiography.
As I was heading towards an all nighter to finish it, until I gave myself a telling off to put it down and go to sleep, I can't not award this book 5 stars.
As I'm now on my third autobiography this month (obviously that time of year) I'm getting quite good at psychoanalysis. I would have to agree with the saying "parents, they f**k you up"
Further analysis would be that she married her father........and what an A1 b her husband was. Wonder if his kids still speak to him.

I loved (not sure that’s the right word!) it too. I keep meaning to start the series he does, have you read any of them?
Reading Iron Flame now after finishing a couple of the books I was working on. Heard a lot about the last 10 pages being devastating and I hope it lives up to that promise.
1984 was rough towards the end because the torture scenes really got under my skin. I actually had to take a break and watch Modern Family to calm down
Incredible and timeless though.
The Proof of My Innocence was very readable. I think you either love Jonathan Coe or hate him. Even when he gets a bit trite, it's still all part of the experience to me.
And, I'm gonna give audio books a real go instead of trying previews and thinking it's not for me. I know a couple of people who are total audio book converts so maybe I can be one of them. I chose Wheel of Time because I saw an IG reel about someone who listens to them over and over again as a comfort thing and I'm always up for some comfort (Toren and Serenity Wolf for anyone curious). I'll listen on my commute and report back.

@emerald I didn't like audiobooks but found I liked non-fiction on audio, then as time has gone on, I started getting used to fiction and it's been my most listened to format, I think 60% of my books this year have been audio.
