I started this but honestly thought she was full of tit. Who can remember word for word conversations they had with everyone from their mother to their neighbour or teacher when they were a young child? I've no doubt the author is highly narcissistic - she clearly enjoys the smell of her own farts, but I didn't find her recollections believable.
It definitely read more like fiction than actual memory. And seriously repetitive

Has anyone here read any books by Tom Cox? I just finished Villager and although it was very rambly (I guess that was kind of the point, but it meant I struggled to read it with any kind of background noise!) I really liked it. He seems like a lovely man as well.

I also finished Think Again by Jacqueline Wilson. I loved it. She wrote Ellie’s voice absolutely perfectly - it was definitely the same character. Not sure if anyone is talking about it here yet (I’ve skipped a few pages of the thread) but WHYYYY did Mr Windsor’s name change?!
I read it over the weekend too.
I was expecting there to be some explanation e.g. it was always Gary but he went by Guy as it was ‘cooler’. I hope there’s another book coming, I wanted to spend more time with Nadine and Mags.

me this morning but also every morning:

On Friday I bought Think Again and We Solve Murders arrived and I felt a tiny bit pleased with myself that I planned to read them straight away and not increase my TBR this month. Then I accidentally bought the new Bella Mackie and remembered a pre-order coming Thursday… still technically achievable to read them this month tho..

Ordering this far in advance basically means it’s free, right?

Currently reading The Rachel Incident and am thoroughly enjoying it. Contemplating abandoning all real life duties and reading all day.

Oh The Rachel Incident is on my TBR. As is Has Anyone Seen Charlotte Salter. I'm currently ready We Solve Murders but I'm finding it hard to get in to. There are SO many characters.

I've just finished Funny Story and I didn't love it 😭 I feel like this is a 'me' problem as so many other EmHen fans liked it!
