I'm in a reading slump! Read the ACOTAR novella and it was so dull!

Yes, a few years ago so don’t ask what it was aboutI think I’m going to start His & Hers next. Has anyone read this?
So I'm about to start ACOWAR, Book 3. If I skip Frost and Starlight will I miss any major plot before Silver Flames? What's the point of a filler novella?frost and starlight? i ALWAYS tell people to skip that - as this thread will attest, it made me hate both feyre and rhysa bit![]()
I wish I knew!So I'm about to start ACOWAR, Book 3. If I skip Frost and Starlight will I miss any major plot before Silver Flames? What's the point of a filler novella?
as @CommentBelow says, there is no real point to it (beyond SJM getting that cash money!)So I'm about to start ACOWAR, Book 3. If I skip Frost and Starlight will I miss any major plot before Silver Flames? What's the point of a filler novella?
ahaha sounds bizarre. Thanks for the summary!as @CommentBelow says, there is no real point to it (beyond SJM getting that cash money!)
it’s basically christmas with the characters, feyre painting, midair sex, feyre talking about painting, sex while flying, feyre getting an art studio (i think?) if you’re a completionist then read it but otherwise you can skip. it should have been a epilogue in another book really!
I could have written this exact reply. 4stars from me too but I can’t remember a thing about it.Yes, a few years ago so don’t ask what it was aboutAccording to GR I gave it 4 stars.
I agree With you! I did still really enjoy reading it though. I liked how it went from being dark to making me laugh. But definitely agree!I finished Strange Sally Diamond this afternoon so just been having a quick search to find other people’s thoughts on it. Glad I’m not the only one who had a “I loved it until I didn’t” sort of feeling!
I have no problem with books that don’t have a neatly wrapped up happy ending, but I just felt so disappointed with how Sally was left by the author. After coming through such trauma and making something of herself, to see her go back so much was frustrating. Maybe more realistic but I don’t think the rest of the book was gritty or real enough to justify that as an excuse for the end.
I enjoyed this book, it was a fun read. The author is definitely one of us.Started reading a recommended book - Found in a Bookshop.
After reading this excerpt I think the author understands us book addicts

I think the author is a "feeder ".I loved that book!
I'm the same with books in that I love them but then when my mum asks me what the book was about for some reason I don't remember a single thing about the book I have read. If I am reading one and I tell her how good it is then after I have finished it she might read the book herself to see if it is good as I say it is.Haha I’m the same with books, absolutely love them but can’t remember what happens![]()
