I finished his and hers tonight (I only posted earlier but I started it a few days ago). It was good! Enjoyed it! Slow start but once it got into it I could not put it down!
Was there a bit at the end around/in/near an indoor swimming pool? I’ve been trying to remember the book since you posted earlier and that’s all I can come up with but I’m not even sure it’s the right book.

ooo thank you for sharing this! 12 for me (one of which i HATED and was surprised to see here 🤣) - but so many really interesting books that i’ve never heard of, and some i have heard of but am scared to read. immediately bookmarked!

currently around halfway through blue sisters and heading for a solid five star emotional knockout.
I’m also halfway through Blue Sisters, so far I prefer it to Cleo & Frank.

I've read 16 of the NYT list so far, but I only really liked about 5 of those, the rest were 3 stars at best.

Has anyone been checking out the NY Times Best Books of the 21st Century list? They’ve currently got numbers 100-41 listed with more being added throughout this week. Hoping it doesn’t go behind a paywall before it’s done, at the moment is visible with a free sign in!

So far I’ve only read 7 off the list. Lots of unfamiliar books (to me anyway!) at the moment so intrigued to see what else coming.
I’ve only read 1 😳😳😳 hangs head in shame

No there wasn’t! There’s been a murder and there goes on to be more and it’s told from POVS. his, a detective on the case, hers, a news reader that’s covering the case & from an unknown POV.
I might read another book by Alice Feeney. Has anyone read rock paper scissors?

i loved cleo & frank (even though i found both cleo and frank themselves annoying 🤣) but i agree! everyone in blue sisters is much more engaging to me, i care deeply about all of them, whereas the supporting cast in c&f saved it for me. i am already very invested in bonnie’s happiness in particular 💙

Well who knows what I’m thinking of then 😂 Actually, it might be an episode of The Purge tv show now I really come to think about it. How have they merged in mind?

I care enough about these characters that I almost carried the hardback with me to commute - but alas the size and weight of ‘Girls Under Pressure’ won the battle for bag space. (I am also very invested in Ellie’s body image issues 💔)

I've just this morning finished Girls Under Pressure! I'm rereading them all before Think Again 🧡
Ellie's body image issues are very relatable and very sad!

Popping here as I'm in a total reading slump.

Just ordered the ACOTAR series because I've been told it's amazing

I have got my mum addicted to Lyn Andrews as she has read 4 books of hers and enjoyed every single one.

I'm doing okay ish reading wise this month, after the total failure of June, however does anyone else feel guilty when they take books out of the library and don't read them? I've got a big pile here, 7, and I only managed 2, but the others I can't even look at, I'm just so uninspired! So I'll take them back and maybe re borrow when I'm upto it, but I still feel a weird sense of guilt!

Just finished Consider Me by Becka Mack. SO good and honestly I’m not one for tiktok recommended books and sport romances.
