I have it on order - 7 people in front of me.Finally finished Preloved. LOVED it. Something I can we can all relate to in one way or another.
i love rw&rb (as my icon will attest) but i think this is a fair assessment. i gave it 4 stars because while alex and henry themselves are lovely, some of the supporting cast did try my patienceRed, White & Royal Blue - a fluffy fun read. I had a few moments where I almost put it in my DNF pile but I preserved and it paid off. I can see why this is a booktok hit, it’s fun but can also be a bit annoying at times. 3/5
I did not know this!I've just finished Shuggie Bain, really enjoyed it although it was grim and hope the TV show will be just as good when it's made.
We read it for the Tattle book club last year and it was mostly well received. I personally loved it! I think I remember reading 1 and 2 within 24 hours as I couldn’t put them down. Got the 3rd on preorder.I’ve just downloaded The Housemaid by Freida McFadden. 1 in a 3 book series! Heard good things
I really recommend it. It was a book that did before/after chapters which I don't usually enjoy, but this was so well written it made it easy to read. 4I have this on my TBR!
I've just reserved it on audio to see if I'll like someone reading it to me. I feel a bit bereft like I need a sequel now!!!@Chocolategoggler I’ve reserved a copy from the library, it looks right up my street! I notice it’s translated from German.
Looks like the second book in the series is out this year.I've just reserved it on audio to see if I'll like someone reading it to me. I feel a bit bereft like I need a sequel now!!!
I've just read this, not usually a fantasy reader, but randomly clicked on it on Waterstones app, sounded good, so bought it.Just finished the will of the many, really really enjoyed it. I love fantasy but I’ve been annoyed that “romantasy” has kinda taken over. I like more war less love in my fantasy. So if anyone is looking for a good political(ish) fantasy I can recommend it.
I feel like I should read a non-fantasy next to widen my reading. I don’t really know what to try through as I usually only read fantasy.
added this to my Amazon TBR listPosting this so you can have a bit of a read of it and see if this book intrigues you as it did me... Press on the purple "preview this book"
The Sunset Years of Agnes Sharp
It's an eventful day at Sunset Hall, a house-share for the old and unruly, when the police arrive with news that a body has been discovered next door. Everyone, including Agnes, is secretly relieved that the body in question is not the one they're currently hiding in the shed (sorry about that...books.google.com
