Can’t believe I managed three! They were all really good but I got stuck on The Lost Night and it took me most of the month to read

Started Daisy Jones and the Six last night ad I want to watch the tv series. So far not very impressed. I’m not a fan of the writing style.
Does it stay in the form of interviews? Not very keen and might dnf

How are you all doing the pretty book layouts? I downloaded a template and have the images of book covers but haven’t a clue how to combine them!

Instagram. Add the layout to your story (without saving), then you can add the book pictures to it and save. Hope that makes sense!

Thank you. I don’t have instagram but may sign up just to try!

Managed to sort a layout out on Canva as couldn’t fathom it on Instagram. I’ve not use Insta in years and I’ve totally forgotten what to do clearly.

Seeing as a lot of us loved The Housemaid has anyone read anything else by Freida McFadden? I am thinking of starting The Inmate as it’s free on Prime Reading.

Thanks for the heads up about The Inmate being included in Prime reading! I listened to the audiobook of The Housemaid and found it a quick and entertaining read. I’ve got the sequel but not listened to it yet. The Housemaid was the first book by FM I read.

I read Do Not Disturb, didn’t see the twist coming and I couldn’t put it down, finished it in the night!

No worries! I read the housemaids secret this week and finished in 24 hours :) I enjoyed it just as much as the first one!

I had a very good month this month! Enjoyed most of the books I read and got more into audiobooks, happy with that 😊 another two ticked off my A-Z and halfway through another.

I had the same thought earlier so had a look at her other books. I loved the sound of One By One so checked it on Goodreads and turns out I read it in 2021 and rated it 5 stars but I really don’t remember it. I have a very very vague recollection of it but I would have thought a 5 star book would have stayed in my brain longer but obviously not. I obviously enjoyed it at the time though.

Ok awesome! Just looked up the book and it sounds good, thank you.

My Frieda list is now:

- The Inmate
- Do Not Disturb
- One by One
- The Locked Door

Will see how many I get through in March 😂

This week I finished Anything is Possible and Oh William! by Elizabeth Strout. Good but now I need a change of pace.

Next up is a historical fiction called The Lost Diaries of Susanna Moodie by Cecily Ross. Set in the 1830s, based on the true story of a “woefully unprepared” Englishwoman moving and making a home in the Canadian wilderness. Can’t wait to tuck into this one.
