I just saw that this book is on Kindle 99p. I think every woman should read it. It is devastating, frustrating and all our healthcare experiences rolled into one.

Unwell Women, A Journey Through Medicine and Myth in a Man-Made World

How are you doing @ordinaryjelly xXx
I bought this thanks x. Will be adding it to my A-Z challenge x

First dive into TJR and started Daisy Jones & The Six this morning. So far, so very manic pixie dream girl…!

Oh gosh I experienced this first hand a few years ago. Kept being sent home by doctors and hospitals over the course of a week where it was eventually discovered I needed emergency life saving surgery. Placing ourselves in the hands of modern medicine is terrifying and yet it’s our only real choice. I don’t think I can bear to read this. It will just frighten me further. Hope you’re being looked after x

Oh thank you so much for sharing, this looks right up my street!

I've added Rebel Bodies by Sarah Graham to my list as well which is along the same lines, but I can't justify buying it yet 😅

Oh bless you, I hope you are well now. x,

As someone who has needed intensive treatment since July 2021 I too have experienced this. It is sad and scary.

Just finished The Housemaid by Freida McFadden. I couldn't put it down. It isn't a 5 star read but I thoroughly enjoyed it for what it was - a popcorn thriller :) Looking forward to reading The Housemaid's Secret tomorrow :D
The housemaid is our bookclub read for March!

Pop in and give us your thoughts on there, but remember to put them behind a spoiler 😊

I just finished The Hawthorne Legacy and have picked up The Illustrated Mum.

I’m also another one that’s struggled with reading this month - January was great but this month not so much
