It’s not only the fact that she is high risk herself going out and about to restaurants etc, it’s the blatant disregard and disrespect for other cancer patients in hospital she attends too. Also the consultants and nurses etc.
Just because her chemo has finished doesn’t mean she’s not going to be in the hospital regularly and for pre assessments for transplant.
It’s an extremely selfish mindset for someone that’s been through it all and should therefore understand

When I used to follow rachel gory from day one she dident sit easy with me at all but of course I was afraid to give my opinion I thought I was being horrible thinking bad of her till I saw other people felt the same im so glad I did not tune in to today's interview I'd hate to have to buy a new radio if I smashed it .

She really is a foolish woman, I'm on immunosuppressant medication and have practically been shielding since March and maybe been out less than a dozen times since then ( to GP for bloods or to pick up prescription)
i used to work in a chemotherapy unit and cared for patients with lymphoma...I remember 1 lad who died after bone marrow transplant due to a deep seated fungal infection which didn't respond to treatment
I certainly wouldn't be recommending to go off galavanting having a meal with a group of friends in a busy restaurant a few days after finishing heavy duty chemo prior to a bone marrow transplant- bet her medical team wouldn't be happy ...she has no immune system and is jeopardising her future health for a few pictures on the gram! ...any infection at the moment could be life threatening

I don’t get it my mother in law got a hip replacement lately and wouldn’t allow any visitors to her house in the month prior to her operation in case she got Covid and it would be pushed back. And this is a bone marrow transplant she’s facing and she’s about town not a bother. Either she’s trying to prove some sort of point or she’s plain stupid.

Last Friday finished me following her she was as bad if on par with Just Jordan and Rachel Gorrey with all the AF, swipe ups & Colabs.. it was like a race with her. I have unfollowed a lot of them but as there pages are not private I do take a look when mentioned on here but most of the time I forget about them. A lot of what is said here is way more honest than any of the Instagramers and it just goes to show every single one of us is fighting something in our lives the difference is we keep it to ourselves.

She showed 3 babygros received in the post with a note saying pity you won’t get to use them. Didn’t show the note and seemed more amused tbh. Later came the tears and reshares and her following soared. Diagnosis and Go fund me page the following week. Can totally see why people question it.

And also said she wasnt going the guards... which for me is crazy .. I'd be straight to the guards and genuinely would not rest till I found out who sent them....

Wouldnt matter how sick I was .. 'If' that was done on me.. I wouldnt let it go

absolutely disgraceful trying to ramp up cancer concern with the tears for 24 hours then having to explain it only a change of appointment date. You seriously couldn’t make up the way this wan takes advantage of kindness. Such a selfish cow. There are patients going through treatment daily with dignity and privacy. She must have been reared in the gutter. Good luck to the medical staff in taking their annual leave when she’s around. Imagine having to deal with that. She isn’t the only one. There are people terminal this Christmas. They’re the people to think about.

I heard that lovely girl on the radio at the weekend who was on the toy show a few weeks back and had lost her leg due to a tumor. Her mum said that once they had reached their go fund me target any other money raised was split amongst 5 charities. Did Shannon do this too?

You are right, that lovely family did an amazing thing. Shannon hasnt done this, in fact she is quite the cheeky mare if people bring it up. And anyone saying "if you donated you dont have a right to ask"... sorry but we do. We donated in good faith as we were spun a story of poverty and travel to dublin... to date all we have seen is splurging on things that she would never have previously bought and not only that , trying to gain by adding AF links to things and hiding the AF on followers. Shannon could learn a lot from lovely Saoirse and her mother. If that go fund me money is used for IVF people will be annoyed, that is not what we were told it was for. it was for rent and bills to cover tratement and transplant. The greed from shannon will the amount took off will stay with me.

The first rant was about the mortgage. Someone here did say that her next step would be a mortgage. Not sure why it hit such a raw nerve to set off that rant.

I mentioned about the mortgage a few posts back.
I’d say she’s being so defensive about it because it’s true!! But of course when it does happen it’ll be all such a surprise and omg we didn’t think we’d be able to afford it, bla bla bla ad nauseam.

Also, re the AF links. Would you go away of that. Every eegit that used social media knows that ads need to be clearly displayed. She consciously made it that you could barely see it (white on a white background). I love the poor attempt at pretending not to be deceiving

Looking at The Late Late and that little sweetheart Saoirse. Her family had a go fund/fundraiser to raise money for Saoirse’s prosthetic needs BUT when they raised what they needed, all funds over this were donated. That’s how you do it. Wish people would learn by examples like this lovely family.

And the sad thing is, they will probably need that money until she stops growing as she will need a new prosthetic every time she takes a growth spurt.

I don't think she is trying to buy one at all. But I don't think she'd get a mortgage because she has no steady income to prove she can pay it back.

But she has income. She’s posting affiliate links everyday, people complained on here that she was and she starting trying to hide the fact that they were Af, she knows exactly what’s she doing and it’s shady.

Calling someone out for being shady isn’t tearing them down as she claims, her illness has nothing to do with it, if she wasn’t doing anything dodgy there wouldn’t be anything to talk about

I got a lovely email from a go fund me I supported some months ago by a little boy age 6 who has autism. He wanted to help charities that have helped him. He cycled 3km a day for 33 days and raised 30,000 euros. This is why I love seeing the updates where I have supported a genuine cause.

Has she mentioned the go fund me lately? I flick on as can’t be bothered listening but it would be nice for her to address it to be grateful all the time or say oh I’m lucky to have this money that Barry can give up work to help look after me blah blah blah etc

Has never mentioned it since the time she addressed it around the time of the car purchase as far as I know.
She's reading here now and apparently has said on her story tonight that anyone who DMs her about spending the go fund me will be told where it's being sent and her future plans for it...
And she thinks buying rings is a trivial thing.
Shannen, your partner is unemployed, and living off money kindly donated (€€€176k.) by people who could have done with the money themselves but wouldn't see you stuck. No shame.
And for the record Shannen, it's the flaunting the restrictions over the last few months that have upset people as much as a go fund me. You didn't address why you were out and about, wining and dining and socialising with numerous households when we were told not to. We stopped socialising to help you not get sick, but then off you go and do what we've been told not to?

I get the living your best life but sure we genuinely could all use that excuse no disrespect meant to poster who said that by the way. Just one minute she’s out everywhere and the next she’s preaching to us To stay at home. We all need to follow the rules to protect the vulnerable but the vulnerable have a part to play too. Maybe if she didn’t have so much money she’d be home more.

First time writing here, knew she was hinting about tattle life lastnight when she was talking about people sending her screenshots of people talking about her online. Thought that was very strange people would send her screenshots of this site, I would imagine she probably read it herself. Anyhow I was quiet surprised initially to find a thread on her. I suppose I always scrolled passed her stories on instagram without paying much attention to her! However after reading through this thread lastnight I'm actually appalled that any of this could be true! I do feel for her, I mean she is living a life of horrible uncertainty, that for anyone is scary especially being so young and having a child. I did not donate to the go fund me thankfully, and am horrified to think that the whole babygro incident tallied up with the mass amount of shares on social media, followed by the go fund me? Also that was a disgusting amount of money raised for one person! Has she actually shown where that money has went to? Has she shared this money out? I would hope so! Did she buy that car with the money raised? Obviously I dont know any truth as I rarely watch her story. However reading all of this lastnight i actually feel disgusted that someone could be so filthy rotten selfish, and i sincerely hope that she proves us wrong

I would bet my house that the baby grow incident was fake. Never showed either the baby grows or the note. Total bullshit and if I could I’d demand the money back that I gave to the Go Fund me. She’s a disgrace but trust me she’ll have no luck for it

Glad I’m not the only one that thought it was out of line. I’m 31 with cancer and it really upset me reading that as I would hate for people to say that about my husband.. rant over lol
