It was thanks to Maysoon I got a ban on DS I made one of my extremely funny witty comments and someone reported me and I got a weeks ban the thing is I could still see everything I just couldn’t post, luckily the ban ended just before the next eviction night

He was an utter knob, the delight in the early days were these “shock” evictions, some people thought they were untouchable

Darren and those chickens! Haha. Wasn’t he on a chicken tonight advert after BB?? The first 3/4 series were the best for me then it just went shit. I remember when they got evicted they was like proper celebs and all over the papers going to premieres and stuff. Madness when you look back

Eugene accepting half the prize money a few days before the final and Anthony fuming about it as he thought the money was rightfully his as throughout most of the series the other housemates kept saying he was going to win. Unfortunately he did win but to me Eugene deserved his share.

I loved watching the early years of BB. I think after series 5 it started going downhill for me.
Does anyone remember Sandy from series 3? He left by climbing over the wall and I’m sure he pissed in a bin before he left too
There were a lot of arguments in series 5, anyone remember fight night?

With hindsight Grace wasn’t actually that bad. She was stuck up and a bit of a mean girl, but there have been far worse. Jade Goody was absolutely vile. I know you shouldn’t speak badly of the dead, but she was absolutely horrible to Sophie. After BB3 she appeared on another show called Back to Reality on Chanel 5 with Jeff, where they both bullied Rik Waller on account of his weight. Then obviously you had the whole Shilpa thing.

I could never understand the nations sweetheart bollocks around her. Yes, what happened was terrible, but let’s not pretend she was a nice person. She was a nasty piece of work and proved it time and time again.

I agree 100% she was monstrous, but there are some who will not have a word said against her, and claim her imporverished upbringing made her what she was, load of tosh she was just plain nasty and very toxic.

Yeah, the odd housemate going back in was fine because it was unexpected and would shake things up but when it was every series I got fed up of it, especially as the housemates always tended to assume thay was happening - ok a lot of the time they were wrong but the fact that they even knew it could happen just ruined it

I agree. The bed sit in bb5 was brilliant and resulted in the famous fight night. But yeah, every year they’d all be saying ‘there’s a secret house’. I hated it when Charley in bb8 was evicted then sent right back in! The whole point of bb was you have no knowledge or contact with the outside world. It was turned into a freak show and that’s probably half the reason davina didn’t go to channel 5.

I can’t wait for the anniversary show and I’m glad Davina is doing it. Brian Dowling is one of the very few who have nothing to worry about. I remember him saying he was unsure about doing Ultimate Big Brother incase anything happened to turn the public against him like Jade Goody done but he was just exactly the same as we always known him to be and that’s why he won and will always be my ultimate housemate.

So glad that it isn't just me who watches them again. Just finished the Brian Dowling series. Went straight to Nadia's series as that was my absolute favourite. I remember being up in the small hours watching the live feed the night fight night kicked off. My mom and I were gutted when they cut to the garden and birdsong. Early Big Brother was fantastic. Summer was devoted to watching it!

I used to have the whole summer free from work and would basically turn nocturnal with them. Friday eviction nights were wine and a takeaway. Remember how really weird it was the first time eviction night wasn’t a Friday?

The day that Nick got busted in BB1 I was at work (bad bad timing) and tried to watch the little live feed they had on the C4 website back then but it crashed and kept on buffering. My flatmate and I RACED home to see if they showed anything on TV that night - total agony to wait until the following evening to see it all unfold with only some website gossip to go on.

Also, I am STILL furious that Anna didn’t win. She was amazing.

I don't really like the way they've done this show, surely it would be better to focus on the best bits from one series each night and have a variety of celebs/exhousemates etc provide a commentary? Rylan and Davina aren't really adding much, it's just a bit of a strange format really.

Completely agree. It's like they couldn't find someone to pull together all of the highlights so they saved themselves the time and just showed one episode. I find the bits where they cut to Davina and Rylan a bit annoying.

I can’t remember exactly so correct me if I’m wrong , but bex and Luke dressed up as seals and had to act like a seal in a paddling pool every time seal....kiss from a rose was played , I just remember crying with laughter cause BB would constantly do it and it really pissed them off

Those earlier iconic seasons were iconic because they picked real housemates with character about them of a mix in ages.

The later ones were just all young, fake and the same carbon copies of each other.

I would love for it to come back but not if it’s full of instagram hoes and Geordie shore wannabes!!!
