Ever since someone said she
always films/photographs it whenever she has alcohol, I keep noticing it. She definitely thinks it makes her look cool to her underage followers.
“I actually don’t know what I would be doing if I was just in the UK”, “Let’s just see the world and, like, y’know, vibe.” - I seriously can’t stand it when people talk like this. Absolutely no acknowledgement of her privilege whatsoever. Molly, you’re not unique for feeling like this - a lot of people would rather go traveling and take extended breaks abroad than work a 9-5 to be able to pay their bills, but they can’t. She really has no idea how lucky she is.
Okay, she does later on say she’s lucky and privileged, but she says it so flippantly. She takes it for granted. She really
doesn’t understand. Referring to herself as “going through” something just rubs me up the wrong way, too. I wouldn’t mind swapping problems with her.
Liv is a hell of a lot more interesting to listen to than Molly
I still hate the way she elongates the ends of her words, but I know that can be a regional thing. But yeah, as much as Molly thinks she’s unique and interesting, she’s really not, and anyone that she features is always more interesting than her (possibly apart from Tom, though I do find him vaguely more likable). Doesn’t surprise me that Molly hadn’t asked Liv a lot about her past - this is the Molly Show and Liv should get used to that.
