Jesus christ, I am an introvert so I can understand not wanting to be besties with neighbours but these two are getting to the stage they need psychological help or a totally remote property with no one within 100km of them so they can't be caught in a conversation and no one will look at Lauren in one of her 1000 cheap kmart tops.

The dog getting out would be annoying as their area doesn't have proper fencing. Surprised she didn't rush Reece to the Doctors to get a tectnus shot if a dog nipped at him.

As for not being a part of the community that's going to come back to haunt her at some point. She lives in a high risk fire area. If I was her I would be friendly with my neighbours.

And the poor husband who suggested that as his wife and Lauren both work from home, maybe they should have lunch. Lauren hated that idea.

I get they want to keep to themselves, but Lauren is sounding more and more unhinged. Sharing all this on her public social media is crazy as imagine the neighbours watching this!

I was thinking how bloody awkward if the neighbours recognised her and this lady is watching these stories about her like

It seems to me that Lauren is so self conscious now that she fears being recognised when heading out into “the real world”, due to her instagram and YouTube career. Not everyone knows who she is! Such a narcissist! She hides away in a remote property talking to her phone /people she doesn’t even know!
She may need help from her neighbours one day!
I wonder if she will change her mind on having children, in order to break up the monotony!

Not many people would know she's on social media. Her most claim to fame was as a beauty youtuber.

I think she struggles with her "job" and trying to explain to people what she actually does.

It would be good for her to meet some new people who don't know her from YouTube. She could just talk to her neighbours about plants and birds.

“We didn’t move here to be part of a community” is fairly wild to me, considering regional areas thrive on connection and community.. does Lauren know being an introvert does not mean being isolated or a hermit with no capacity to support human interaction.
I like my alone time and dont need heaps of friends or interaction to be stimulated or sustained, but I can certainly chat to my neighbour and maintain that relationship with ease

I was thinking there’s a difference between being an Introvert (same) and having Social Anxiety (same) but it’s really not healthy to only want to spend all your time and socialise with your partner. She doesn’t mention anyone visiting their new house

Does anyone find Matty J funny?? All he has done since Laura has been away is post reels about how he couldn't single parent and his mum/MIL has been there the whole time doing everything for him. I used to like him but now he just reminds me of Brad Kearns, trying to be relatable but it's just completely misogynistic.
