Does anyone find Matty J funny?? All he has done since Laura has been away is post reels about how he couldn't single parent and his mum/MIL has been there the whole time doing everything for him. I used to like him but now he just reminds me of Brad Kearns, trying to be relatable but it's just completely misogynistic.

I love Laura and Marty J, but since his podcast I’m finding his content really off putting. Very disappointing because from all other accounts he seems like a really hands on dad, Laura often mentions how much he does, but these ‘joke reels’ lately are very Kearnty - truly disappointing as an actual fan.

Nicole from the simple home edit really needs to loosen up. Is her husband, who I think works from home most days, that incapable of putting together a peanut butter sandwich while she is gone for the day, or get the kids a happy meal as a treat for dinner. Not everything has to be made from scratch all day, every day she is exhausting

She also runs the Undone - crazy overpriced clothing with crap return/refund rules. And she’s basically asked people what fashion trends are coming so she can steal the advice and apply it to her store - nothing irritates me more than influencers getting free advice using their platform, especially if it’s going to directly help their own profit!

I don’t keep up with her at all, but, and this is really showing my age here, I first learnt about her (and other Aus “bloggers” Nadia Fairfax and Kate Waterhouse etc ) when I used to watch their reality show “Fashion Bloggers” back in the day

Not many people would know she's on social media. Her most claim to fame was as a beauty youtuber.

I think she struggles with her "job" and trying to explain to people what she actually does.

It would be good for her to meet some new people who don't know her from YouTube. She could just talk to her neighbours about plants and birds.

I’m an introvert as well, so can understand where she’s coming from to SOME small extent…but it’s really not healthy to completely cut yourself off from the entire world just because you’re “private people” !!
If Reece ever leaves her, she’s going to be one very lonely old lady!

We live in the same region and at our last insurance quote (phone) was asked if we know our neighbours. It has many advantages. Thankfully, we do. And I imagine it could come in handy!!

“We didn’t move here to be part of a community” is fairly wild to me, considering regional areas thrive on connection and community.. does Lauren know being an introvert does not mean being isolated or a hermit with no capacity to support human interaction.
I like my alone time and dont need heaps of friends or interaction to be stimulated or sustained, but I can certainly chat to my neighbour and maintain that relationship with ease
