She’s been messaged by a number of Tattlers in the past when people who’ve worked with her brand have been extremely problematic (the Kearns, for example). The Tattlers were trying to highlight the particular issue with said influencer and how that might impact her consumers’ opinions of her business. Old mate Ash, rather than appreciating some feedback and being professional, has gone to the gutter with her reply, berating the messagers. There is more but it’s early and I have a baby who doesn’t sleep
She’s pretty bitchy and fast with the block button, but nothing really. Mostly just terrible choices in influencers to support her business. I can see why she had the event and she got lots of stories and tags from all these women that showed up, so it’s a win for her. I can see why local influencers would show up and they seemed to spend less overall (Jessii had a cheap dress, Laura Bentley re-wore something she already owned). I think it’s laughable that these interstate people were so desperate that they paid thousands of dollars in flights, accomodation, expensive new outfits to go to an event that lasted a couple of hours for a small, relatively unheard of candle company.
She looks so tired and old, complains all the time about her anxiety yet will do the event and all associated activities because it's worth $$$
Her insistence on having another child and whining about low AMH / infertility issues when she hasn’t recovered from the “trauma” of premature twins was just insane. I don’t get it. If you have anxiety or unresolved issues or trauma, you do not need to jump into having another child, FFS.
I find it ridiculous considering Riley has a LITERAL TWIN for a direct comparison! It’s absurd! How could you not pick it up? Using anxiety as an excuse not to parent or advocate for your child is poor form and demonstrates a lack of self awareness.
Blossom by ash would have paid for all those influencers flights and hotels. You think they paid for all that themselves? Hahaha absolutely not!
agree, it has been so obvious, Riley should never have been put in school, she’s clearly not ready or coping with it. When she discussed school for the twins someone asked if she’d consider putting Hanna in and delay Riley and she said she’d hold them back together or go together which is also really unfair on both girls as clearly Hanna is very ready for school (as well as needing social interaction!)
I cannot follow this person for this exact reason…she is THAT hard to look at.It’s definitely from the garage. I hope it’s not metal cos she could break her teeth but even still it’s gross and dangerous

Some brands absolutely do. Kmart pays for flights and accommodation for their events for example.
Kmart and a small candle company are very different though. I can’t imagine she paid for anything but the actual event. All those influencers are desperate to get invited to anything and take photos of their vapid lives they will literally fork out money to watch a candle being lit.

I think it was most likely a discount for a bulk booking. A fair few took their families with them. A few stayed at a different hotel too. Totally agree with you. Abbie's views and commentary are purely self serving, and are tokenism, at best. She is desperate to stay relevant and knows that the more controversial topics will keep her name in the media. She doesn't actually know much about the topics and causes she aligns herself with, and is unwilling to hear any other opinions or perspectives. It's just bizarre to watch from the outside. People like her get trapped in this social media echo chamber of constant need for adulation and validation for their allyship and activism. It's very disingenuous.
If they paid they will be claiming it as a tax deduction/work expense anyway, would fall under networking probably.

I watched a video by Raw Beauty Kristi yesterday and she mentioned that people don’t trust beauty YouTubers anymore, that we used to watch their reviews and believe them and then when we realised those reviews were biased/ paid for/ some hadn’t even used the product we stopped trusting them. It made me think of influencers and how the same thing is happening. I’ve trusted influencer’s recommendations before and been disappointed and ripped off. Most of them will promote anything that is thrown their way and as you said if you say anything you get blocked. I can’t see how this is going to be a long term sustainable way to advertise when so many people are getting sick of it.
Also when I go to a store I am seeking out a product or service, not having it shoved into my face at every turn or without my knowledge/consent/disclosure that it’s even a damn ad.
