What asmr are you guys watching these days?... there's so many channels to choose from but idk I'm picky I guess. I like personal attention/role play - not so much random asmr trigger videos. lmk any of your favorites!

Latte, whispersred and gentle whispering are my favs and I have the same want list as you. I haven’t found anyone new for a while so it’s a basic bitch list (me not them!) but these three consistently deliver. Would be super interested in any other recs of your brief!!

Ugh SO glad this is being said here, I can't stand the woman after checking out her socials. She bought the Audi with her YT money, definitely not enough sponsors for a free gifted nor any Audi ads on her vids.

I think it's pretty pathetic these people are asking us for gifts when they're making good enough youtube coin to fuck around in their own houses for an hour. I checked out Nicola's - she's got a $5000 Chanel bag on there, what planet does she live on? Pushing out this culture that followers should gift their sponsorship laden/money-earning channels is the biggest scam. Don't do it, spend it on yourself or your loved ones.

She's a big fan of comparing it to a "normal" job. (think she'd die of shock and fibromyalgia if she ever went in to a 9-5 office) Fine, go ahead. But have some real expectation of what a normal work day looks like for the average person and take stock. I'd be a tad floored if I went to pay for petrol and the person working there asked me for a new Ipad. (also on the list).

She is on the autism spectrum and has spoken about that before but it isn't an excuse to be rude to others, by any means. Her desperation for gifts, followers, views seems to be getting worse and I find the vids so boring now.

Oh God, I needed that off my chest. Now to go smoke a jazz cigarette and unwind.

I like Makayla. Her, Jas, Lizi, Starling and Gibi are my favorites. They present themselves very professionally and are really good at ASMR.

just curious if this is something anyone else noticed but I think for a lot of ASMRtists having nicely Manicured clean hands also makes a difference? I’ve been finding some recently who clearly bite their nails and when they do things like face touching it really grosses me out. Is this a thing for anyone else??

Did it really annoy anyone else that Itsblizz's latest video was talking about basically just ignoring any changes in your body and assumign your body knows best? In the week that Bowelbabe died of cancer (I assume she has no idea who she is but it just occurred to me) but listening to your body and changes, not just assuming everything is normal, is KEY in early detection of things like cancer.

I can't watch any of her blogs, I find her irritating, the only likeable thing about her was her ASMR, her lifestyle content s fake and out of touch

Maria was my first love and I still dip in and out. I like her colour analysis videos she’s done recently

Lots of my faves have stopped making videos but I still like TonyBomboni (though he has done some questionable videos)
Also love LOVE river asmr. He is just a beautiful fascinating man. I think he’s AMAZING. Not everyone’s cup of tea but he is mine!
Have you seen the Alexander technique video with Diana Dewitt Dawson?? That’s complete unintentional ASMR which is just a classic.

It does seem very odd. Ive noyiced some of them have really exprnsive items,like you said a holiday package,seems quite greedy to expect viewers to pay for such expendive items. Is this why so many people are leaving regular jobs to make posting on social nedia their job

I have a hard time believing someone shells out this much money on strangers without expecting something in return.

Very sad about MinxLaura123's mum passing away, and quite unexpectedly it would appear. I wonder whether this will see Laura regress into an even more childlike state, or perhaps it will motivate her to start living her life to the fullest and stretch her wings a bit. I didn't screenshot it but I remember a little while ago so was going on and on about how do you grow your instagram? (Maybe not post 10 odd selfies a day but whatever) and then she started following a bunch of "buy REAL INSTAGRAM FOLLOWERS" accounts and low and behold.... her account gets flagged for fake follows and she gets locked out. She went on and on on twitter about how SHES ONLY ORGANICALLY GOTTEN FOLLOWERS SHES NEVER BOUGHT and its like.... wtf you liar

I really like atmosphere ASMR and semide coco!
As for itsblitzz, I initially really enjoyed her asmr content and still do sometimes but like other users have said here her personality and tone deafness is just super annoying. The way she handles and reacts to the smallest criticism or even someone asking her a question that she takes personally becomes a ten story soap box on instagram. She comes from what seems like very humble beginnings which I really liked but she went the completely other direction and has become a performative wealthy LA stereotype. There seems to be this need to be envied that she has and her attitude is just so shitty. Her non asmr videos have become more frequent and they're just her complaining and lecturing viewers half the time and being defensive bc I think more people have been calling her out and she must know its true on some level bc it bothers her sooo much. I don't even necessarily blame her for doing sponsored posts bc it seems like a great opportunity to make good money in a context you enjoy! but I mean.. read the room girl. im glad there is discussion about her channel bc her irked the f**** outta me lately.

yeah I agree , I remember when she started doing ASMR and commenters were all saying how she had found her "niche" on youtube, which i totally agreed with, I find her voice really relaxing, and don't get why she didn't do more and the cat ASMR post was just . I am sorry but 2 posts a month is not a full time job, unless you are totally incapable at editing (in which case mybe consider another career?) a full time youtuber should surely be able to do at kleast one post a week?
Her saying she made enough without sponsorship was really a kick in the teeth imo, it was basically saying "I earn enough but want to earn more"

So I’m here to eat my words, a while ago I made a quip about Trisha Paytas doing ASMR. However curiosity got the better of me and I must admit she’s quite good.

I looked at her ASMR out of curiosity and she is really good at it actually! I have a hard time forgetting how problematic she was and all she's done while watching though. She has kept her promise recently about changing her ways for her child, so far I'm rooting for her.

I love her ASMR content, but that's it. As the previous poster said, she's a bit of a hypocrite, always preaching a so called natural and non materialistic lifestyle, but in reality living quite a contradictory lifestyle to what she preaches.
Previously I had mentioned that I like Cheryl ASMR, this last week I've b3really disappointed in her, she always says how she loves asmr and wants to create content to help others but now is using membership/patreon. 90%of her content are live streams, recorded on her phone, but now she's is charging for that. Cheryl is lovely, but is too sporadic and low tech to think her content is worth charging for.

Minxlaura123 is the definition of cringe, the quality of her content has barely improved since she started years ago. Do not look at her Insta, in her mind she's Kate Moss

Apart from her ASMR I couldn't stand her, she was unrelatable and quite unlikeable.

Maria seems like a very impressionable and easily led woman with a lot of issues in her past. She’s floundering for something to attach to/ground her, previously that was spirituality and now it’s extreme Christianity. That video was worrying, if I was her family I’d be starting an intervention.

I know artists need to do popular topics to get views but I'm so frustrated with the lack of diversity in videos anymore. If I see one more follow my instructions video from my faves I might puke. I'm so over it! It'd be nice to have some classic roleplays to watch. I still love and watch Celaines ASMR but half her videos now are the same thing and she's transitioned to almost all fast asmr (not my thing but I know a lot of people like it). It's really helped her grow but darn it I miss her normal medical stuff! Also this is nit picky but her thumbnails give me uncanny valley. She is so incredibly beautiful, why does she edit them to the point of being unrecognizable? Maybe it's a younger generation thing? I know thumbnails need to be flashy and I've seen quite a few asmrtists getting really wild with their thumbnails (to the point where some don't even look like the actual video) so maybe Im just old
