Oh my lord. I'm a longtime lurker who's been reading this thread religiously and I finally decided to sign up after seeing this latest Minx foolishness. The number of people I've seen who try to demand that others give verbal or written credit for (checks notes) a sound that literally anyone can produce is far too much (see: Miss Manganese / spit painting).
Also, does anyone else think there is some strange stuff going on with ASMRVilla? I've been watching her since 2015 and she has always been very...heavily Christian in her undertones, used a board game called "Secret Hitler" (wtf) as a trigger, and caused a flap in '20 when she went around tapping on things in a doctor's office with her bare hands (but deleted and posted an apology video instead). There's also the "very important story" (or however she titled it) where she talks about how Egyptian men -- including her former next door neighbor -- get away with DV...and now fast forward to 2022 where she has an Egyptian boyfriend, whose face she's openly posted twice while she still refuses to show her own (also apparently the reason for her fake British accent).
Oh, there's more I could get into as well (I've seen some drama with that Just an Ordinary YouTube Channel account who goes around requesting glove sound videos and shoutouts from many new and small ASMRtists) but this is already growing into a novel. I don't want to sound mean-spirited but for a community that's supposedly dedicated to helping people relax...we can certainly bring the drama.
Crush on 9 and ASMR Violet, though. My brain fizzes, especially at Crush's public ASMRs -- his latest at the beach was heaven. It's also fabulous to see KittyDish still putting out videos, I love her tapping so much!
