😂 omg, she's a fool.

I didn't bother watching earlier as thought she was taking the piss advertising period pants while she is pregnant but was curious about the gloves. She's so weird!

Interesting. Wonder what her relationship is like with her parents generally…. Does she model her own relationship with her parents with how she parents Alf?

Also is it not embarrassing to see all those bot comments on your own post. Cringe..
I feel sorry for her parents, she alternates between ‘poor Ashley was bullied and unloved’ and ‘poor Ashley didn’t fit in as her parents worked so hard she as too posh for the local school’

Urgh, I was going to try wuka period pants. Not going for them anymore now she's advertising them 😭
Try cheeky pants; they are amazing!

I second cheeky pants! Not so keen on their pads though, I use Bloom and Nora

Cheeky pants heavy flow and a cup is a life changer! Wish I’d done it sooner and I’m 6 years in. And didn’t have to get paid to try it like Ashley

TATTLE BINGO ALERT

Alf won't eat anything Ashley makes. demoralising for Ashley (she is such a narc everything always has to be about her) but Alf being a fussy eater wasnt foreseeable at all, no, absolutely not, when he literally ate nothing but three foods for ten whole months.

that having been said, ash can't cook so maybe he just has a discerning palate. carry on Alf. give your mama some hell, god knows she needs it. and thankfully you have an ersatz nana who takes it upon herself to ensure that you aren't literally malnourished. (although he does have the textbook signs)

Course he won't try the food if he doesn't have anyone to learn from...surely you eat with your children so they see eating as a social habit , you don't plonk them down in front of the sodding iPad again to eat on their own
How about you and TNB eat a family meal together for once!

Her tone is disgusting talking about Alf not eating his dinner!
Saying she’s spent all day cooking and he won’t try it
Why is she talking like it’s a totally new thing that she’s cooked for him and he won’t try it

honestly what does that poor boy eat?! It’s baffling that she doesn’t cook meals for him/them as a family and eat altogether!

Eating with my child is genuinely one of the most enjoyable parts of parenting.

Like anything with parenting, you reap what you sow. We did baby led weaning, eating with him so we could model both eating and socialising. It meant eating a bit earlier than we like or eating some random things at times, but it’s hugely paid off.

He’s just been out to the pub with us and eaten half my roast dinner with his own portion of veg. He eats anything, and sits really nicely at the table without a tablet in sight.

Like anything with Ash, she needs to realise that her gut instincts are normally wrong but also aren’t enough - time and effort is required too.

This is the thing. It’s all trial and error. But there’s no trial with her just stubbornly sticking to what’s clearly not working. Be it sleep ( he’s too cold ) food ( he watches TV) or his general safety ( cot bumper anyone ) He constantly looked tired / disengaged it’s clear from her numerous stories yet she just sees herself. It’s so sad

21 months in and just starting to cook him actual dinners? and the reaction to him not wanting to eat it. Isn’t that just something all mothers are used to by 21 months?! Turning their noses up at something they loved yesterday. Just shows how little she actually cooks for him that she has that reaction now. What the F Has she been doing for the last year!
also it’s a Sunday, zero excuse to not all sit together and eat a meal.Their ‘Family’ dynamic is bizarre.

Exactly! We start weaning next month and I can't wait. What did she do with him at 6m? OK fine I'll go down that rabbit hole as I'm stuck rocking a cot 🤣

Apparently he wouldn't touch her home made purees but loved the pouches. Of course they just so happen to be an ad. So even his weaning journey was based on content / ads.

Honestly, my favourite bits of the day with my little one are mealtimes (when weaning) and bath time. Hilarious, every day is different. The facial expressions, the experimentation, watching them learn and develop, it’s fascinating. Frustrating and messy, yes, but it’s absolutely crucial to social development as well as dietary.

To finally decide to make an effort at nearly 2 years old is utterly mental.

Some days all the food ends up on the floor, other days they eat everything you put in front of them.Thats life with a toddler.

She's obviously doing it wrong if she's been cooking all day long when this book specifically says easy meals, prepped in 10mins...but then that's 10 mins she hasn't been able to eye duck herself instead!

After the mention of Kate Lawler yesterday I went to check out her stories and watched the reel of her daughter.

The biggest thing that stood out to me was the amount of clips of her daughter covered in food, attempting to feed herself and it was lovely to see.

I feel so sorry for Alf - his diet and eating habits are shocking thanks to his feckless mother.
