So now I'm getting paranoid, you guys. I have dual Canadian/Australian citizenship, ok. This was tweeted on my birthday. They're on to me!
Jokes aside, the Army are always training in Darwin. There's a large military base there plus an RAF base and a navy presence IIRC.

I saw this a while ago and laughed so hard. Considering how covid is spreading in Australia right now it’s really no surprise that stronger lockdown rules might have to be imposed soon. That’s the same as me saying I have information that lockdown rules are going to be tightened in Germany at the end of September. Do I have insider information? No. I watch the news and can see that we’re back to exponential growth and a quick (simple) calculation will tell anyone that we’re fucked.

I’m not even going to go into the army is training part. That one’s just too hilarious 😂

"If you didn't have side effects after the vaccine you were injected with saline solution, they don't want everyone dying at once, it would be too suspicious!" But Sherlock here has worked it out, how lucky we are

I’m sorry let me help you find your sense of humour, my irony was lost on you 🤣

One that is irking me recently is ... every time a celebrity or any sort of "known" figure (including instagrammers) post online about the vaccine, people post it saying "I can't believe they are paying celebs to say this stuff!" Literally for any of them, not just a select few.

The anti vax campaign is headlined by celebrity figures too. But oh no, theres no way they are being paid ....

My 11 year old nephew has covid, all this it doesn’t really effect children is nonsense, he’s so poorly, like more than a cold or flu, can barely breathe, non stop coughing, really poorly tummy, so lethargic etc. He’s usually fit and well, he plays football for his school and does martial arts etc, they are active and out a lot. I’m so done with seeing all the crap about it not being real now, this is different to any other bug and seeing a kid with it is so upsetting. His mum and dad have had one jab so far, both are still testing and so far negative. I wish I could post the video of him because that would make so many people be quiet. He’s 11 breathing like a poorly 90 year old. I’m terrified for these kids now.
People would say the government have paid you to get your nephew to fake it as your trying to get people to have their child vaccinated! I really hope he starts feeling better soon

It’s like when someone posted pictures of British tanks at the start of covid to prove the army were about to start driving down our road in tanks and lock us in our houses. There’s a lady on another thread so scared that shes going to have to hide her children inside the house while the army (uk) drag people out to forcibly inject them. Lots of other posters instead of reassuring her are feeding into her fears

I saw an article today about new article being investigated and I know it’s hard and it’s frustrating and we all want it to be over but immediately people start conspiring about whether it’s real or not. I can understand that we are all fed up but not getting the jab only prolongs this

I mean I appreciate the offer but I doubt I need help from someone who takes 2 days to respond to a post but thanks for the offer chicken 😀

⬆ This!

Under the guise of support, they're actually making people feel worse. Telling them how lucky they are to have "woken up" and how their wildest fears regarding the covid vaccines and the future are totally valid. It's manipulative and creepy to prey on people who are already anxious. It looks like reassurance, but it's the opposite - supposing an evil agenda behind every action by every governmental body, and choosing to believe a few discredited fake social media reports rather than any actual official data.

I'm not sure this is an 'anti-conspiracy theory', it might be quite the opposite but can anyone give me a rational explanation why the so-called 'pingdemic' is such a problem now e.g. supposedly causing shortages in the shops when it did not seem to be a problem when the daily case rate was just as high in January?

I have read that it is because we were still on lockdown in January so mixing was less.

So although cases were high people weren't mixing as much to pass it on or be pinged.

Whereas now people are meeting up more and in larger groups

I read this from an article -

“… widespread pinging has more to do with a sharp increase in infections the U.K. is recording as a result of the spread of the more contagious delta variant and the lifting of lockdown restrictions.”

Looks like it is maybe because we are out of lockdown and ALL restrictions have been lifted, therefore more people are getting pinged. Whereas back in December/Jan when we were seeing high infection rates, the majority of businesses were closed and people were not mixing.

According to some “journalists” the shortages are caused by a mixture of the pingdemic and brexit 😬

It's a big combination, may HGV drivers were from Europe and on Brexit decided to return to their native countries (apparently we are 60K short of drivers), and then there is the issues on the border and the trouble of lorries getting in and out in Kent (another Brexit issues) along with negative tested being needed at the crossing.

There was less socialising in January so people didn't get 'pinged' it was really only those with symptoms, parents with burst bubbles and anyone called by track and trace which won't have been may. Now it is widespread because people are out and about with next to no distancing so are getting pinged all over the place and trace and trace calling is out of control.

Wow what a charmer you are did it make you feel better mocking me, is that how you get your laughs mocking people of a different opinion to you and calling them names. As for the very strange response that it took me 2 days to answer you well I do have a business to run so I can’t be here just waiting in case you want to take the piss out of me.
By the way where I come from a jag is an injection please have a wonderful day and enjoy the beautiful weather .
