Personally when I have gone skiing I have always rented the ski equipment. I don't ski often enough that it's profitable for me to buy all the equipment, and like me, this happens to a lot of people.

Although I also have to say that none of us say we have a million dollar lifestyle and we don't criticize the nouveau riche either.

I don’t think anyone’s satiric comments are meant to hurt or embarrass someone that has to rent ski equipment or go on holidays on off seasons.

Neither my mom nor my dad did marry/date up, I don't blame them. I will start my level up journey from scratch and I have learnt to accept it. Some people also started from scratch and managed to make it despite a not so classy past (I'm not gonna say any names as I don't want to give any inspiration to the Rat). My honest opinion?

If you are single, completely free, no kids... It's not a sin to wish to "date up", meet guys of higher ranks... What makes it favourable or not is the way you choose to do it. Practically knocking on their doors won't do it. Pretending to be something you're not neither. You gotta study their ways and territory before even meeting them. But even before that, you gotta look to yourself and analyze if you are ready for it, if you've got what it takes intrinsically and extrinsically... You won't be dealing only with guys, but also with potential competition (remember there are more women than "high-caliber" men) and truth be told sincerity and an open heart are not enough to secure this kind of relationship.

Now If you are a "plain jane" (aka lower levels of the pyramid) and are in a relationship, dating or engaged or even married, and everything seems to be healthy, if you are respected and happy with the guy, then listening to poison like "you deserve something better" is like shooting yourself in the foot. You don't have to leave, give up on something that's been working only because the guy might not be providing 100%, not taking you to "fancy" places or giving you luxury goods... That's utterly stupid. If you want those things, try to get them yourself. No guy has the obligation to give you whatever you want just because you want it. That's not like a contract clause in any relationship. They do it because they love you and want to make you happy. Take heed of that before blowing something special over petty stuff. If it's about elevating life conditions, moving to a better neighborhood, getting a better house, job and lifestyle upgrade... Anything regarding the improvement of you two, then sit down and talk. Let him see the advantages to the point of realizing your mutual growth will not only benefit the two as individuals but also "level-up" the relationship as a whole. It's about "us" not "me". If it's about "me", then stay single.

She wouldn’t recognize “old money” if it bit her in her sizable ass! And, why the fascination with it and the belief that only “old money” counts anyway? She doesn’t have either old money or new money. Probably has very little money period - just enough to cover her meager accommodations and a couple of off-season vacations, plus a few fake bags and some usually hideous clothing end-of season sale items. Do you think that she’d turn down a fortune comprised of “new money” if it was offered? Yeah, right!

And, since “old money” is all that counts, I guess we should simply write off the likes of Elon Musk, Bill Gates and all the tech billionaires of the past 10-20 years? At least in the US, that’s who controls most of the wealth today. We don’t look down our noses at them - while making all that “new money,” they contribute greatly to worldwide society.

And, since the majority of her pitiful devotees certainly don’t have “old money,” why would they find this even relatable or useful?

Just another example of how out of touch she is with her target audience and how out of step she is with the world in general. Poor thing is just pitifully stupid, uneducated and unaware.

I've been following Anna for four years, and I used to adore her until I watched a YouTuber calling her a fraud. I initially mistook her for a hater, but as I watched, everything became clearer, she included links in the description box for additional research. On a Friday night, I ended up here spending 9-10 hours reading almost everything! And I must say, there is some excellent research here! I've been following the dialogue for about three weeks now and Anna is obviously paying attention to what you ladies are saying. I'm sure you've noticed, but one of the users here stated that she is never invited to such events, and here she is sharing stories from the Chanel show.

Someone also said she never did anything related to arts, and now she's sharing hundreds of stories from a ballet performance. That's something I've never seen Anna do before, I don’t remember her going to an opera, watching a ballet performance or visiting a museum.
Here are some of my predictions, which Anna will share with her audience soon:

a luxury car (somebody here wrote that she never shows off her car)

-more arts (maybe an opera? Idk)

-donations and a passion for social causes (somebody also mentioned that is what elegant ladies do as well.)

-unboxing designer bags / accessories that aren't worth a lot.

-More michelin star places

I also wonder what happened to her former social media manager? As a digital marketing director I don’t think she has a good working “etiquette”. Have you seen the job ad she posted? She expects a social media manager who has design / video editing skills. As an affluent woman she should know it is the job of an art director and a videographer.
