I don’t have much to add - other than that I don’t think Ed has changed his clothes? Which to me is now making him seem imaginary, sadly. But who is she talking to on the phone?!

I'm going to be seriously annoyed if she wakes up towards the end of episode 6 and this was all a dream.

I saw the actual advert on TV last night, and it showed short bits from figure episodes. Made me wonder if the private investigator is not real and in her mind perhaps?!

The whole 'strangers on a train thing' made me roll my eyes a bit - as did the rest of the show. Somebody mentioned a series 2 a few pages back but I really don't see the need for that? I won't be tuning in!

The only thing I liked was how Angela turned the tables on Theo at the end. Other than that it was all a bit boring throughout.

Don't really know what to make of this. I want to find out what happens but the way everyone interacts with each other is so weird. No normal talking. Yeah just tell your kids over breakfast that their rabbits been killed. And why don't the parents care about the rabbit! I'd be upset if I found it like that. And they just went off randomly to his building, did they leave the kids home alone??

The only thing I learned since last week was that Edgewater is a leisure centre & not a mental hospital.
Was a bit underwhelmed with that latest episode.
It is surely too obvious that the nasty husband is trying to push Angela over the edge just to get the kids??

I quite enjoyed it! Will keep watching. I wonder if this guy is still plotting with the husband or if he is genuinely trying to help her?

I thought it wasn't bad - building up at the end. Yes the involvement of the private detective might be interesting. I'll definitely watch next week.
Odd to see Big Mandy from This Country!

It was ok, I think id have preferred if they were a lower income family. I know that's a bit weird but I think I'd relate more I dunno.

Spoilers for anyone who hasn’t watched up to the end of episode 5.

She tracked Ed down to the football team he plays for.
She found out his real name was Theo.
She then found an ex girlfriend and had her nails done by her and asked her about him - ex warned her to stay away from him as he was strange. Ex told her that his car garage burnt down on Halloween.
Angela remembers that Oliviers trousers smelt of petrol the day after Halloween, as suspects he is involved.
Angela gets the police to escort her home to collect some belongings, where she goes through his office looking for some evidence to link him to Theo. She takes some bank statements.
In the bank statements Angela finds a fuel transaction for Halloween.
Angela goes to the petrol station and asks for the CCTV, in the hope of it showing Theo and her husband together.
The man tells her to come back later, so she does and when she arrives the petrol station has been looted and the CCTV stolen and the staff member tied up - he accuses Angela as she was asking for the CCTV, so she leaves.
Theo tries to convince Angela to meet him in the woods - he offers to explain everything. She asks him to meet at a bar instead, he then doesn’t show, but threatens her on the phone to stay out of his business.
It appears Theo and her husband know everything Angela is up to, to try and catch them out. She assumes it is because Theo is following her.
Angela has an argument with Olivier on the doorstep, and he strangles her until one of the children come to the door. It is caught on the house CCTV.
At the end, you see Theo and Olivier on the phone to each other, both saying they have done their part. This is the first confirmation that they were working together in some way.

Also during the episode Angela sees the children in the contact centre.
She tries to tell her solicitor she has tracked Theo and can prove he’s real, but the solicitor doesn’t believe her.
Angela gets into contact with an old friend, it appears they fell out 8 years ago as Olivier accused the friend of trying it on with him to ruin her and Angela’s friendship. She ends up staying at her friends house as she feels unsafe at hers. The friend encourages her to seek revenge and fight for her children.

It all seems too obvious at the minute. There has got to be some sort of twist.

If there is going to be two series, then maybe it will end on a cliff hanger like Theo or Olivier being found dead and suspicion over whether it’s Angela or not. Otherwise, I would assume it’s going to end with finding out how Theo ended up being roped into helping set her up.

It could be wrapped up in 60 minutes I think there would be outcry if there was another series dragging out the same storyline.

I always end up disappointed with these ITV dramas. They normally start quite well and end up cack. They're the TV version of click bait. I was bored tbh.
