I’m a uni student and I’d never use the term group assignment in a million years I always say group project.

I can confirm I’m a uni student and would also say group project and not group assignment, partly because our group work is considered projects and NOT assignments, our assignments are usually based off of the group project we have done.
My uni also doesn’t use zoom, although we don’t use Skype ourselves I wouldn’t discount the possibility of students using Skype. It’s a tool most uni students would already know how to use so makes sense to use it.
Also, in terms of being friends with people of different age at uni, I’m 20 and one of my closest uni friends is 30 with children, so it’s not that strange

Why do people get so nitpicky and rude towards newbies on here, this isn’t a thread to be nasty to each other lol, really unnecessary comments here. Everyone says different things and phrases it’s a bit silly to use that against someone. Just ignore it, it isn’t gonna affect the thread much anyway.

£2k a month in rent and she wants to save to buy a house. This girl could EASILY save up a deposit in just a year with that rent money alone never mind any actual saving. Does she not have any other savings? What the heck has she been doing with her money for the last year to not have enough stacked up to buy but is happy to spend 24k a year on rent? Seems stoooopid to me.

I get she’s young but all I see is she’s thick with money and perhaps isn’t sure she’s going to like it in Manchester or stay their permanently. That’s all fine and all but from a financial POV it’s a no from me, whether you have the cash or not.

The fact that someone like Ana is able to pay 2k on rent, makes me physically sick.

Not to be that person, but can we only keep this thread on Ana, and her few friends/associates. It's getting kind of annoying seeing endless comments on someone who has nothing to do with the actual thread.
