Crikey, I had my line removed after my last chemo and drove home alone, I didn't need a guard of honour.
I suppose it depends how much attention you want

Its just all so bleeping self indulgent and saccharine and vomit inducing and i cannot stand this wide-eyed little girl act she puts on. Seriously bleeping grow up. It’s patheticRepost after repost of her walking to that bleeping bell! You’d think she’d just got home from fighting at Goose Green.
Yes, this “other cancer” she’s alluded to but wont explain because it’s obviously being used as a part of the documentary…..Ringing the bell is good if it means marking a milestone but all the reposts feel a bit premature, she says she has to have an MRI next. I was under the impression that her cancer was quite complex after the second tumour discovery.
I'm not sure she's clever enough to explain it. Maybe someone will write a script for her and sit down and go over it with her - very sloooowwwlllyyy.Yes, this “other cancer” she’s alluded to but wont explain because it’s obviously being used as a part of the documentary….
Each family member chopping off toe nails and big toe hairs…..View attachment 2574734
Bloody hell, if her family turn up to chop off her foot bit by bit I'm well and truly out.
That makes sense. I hope she’s not being too premature in celebrating. At the hospital I had my chemo they don’t do the ringing the bell thing. Because of the reasons you’ve all stated. You don’t know you’re cancer free at this stage and for some people that never happens. You also get people like Amy who go all over the top.I had my treatment at a specialised oncology unit that has an excellent reputation. They didn’t stop treatment through the whole of the pandemic
I can’t believe they hadn’t discussed having children until the consultant asked her about freezing embryos!Notice that her husband doesnt make an appearance at ANY public engagements with her, ever. Was he even in the hospital during the bell ringing performance or at the house when the family were chopping her hair off?
they are a very peculiar “couple” - he gives me Neil Jones vibes - both seriously in the back of the closet.
And he’s never smiling in any photos. He looks like he’s forced to be there. The pics at the bell ringing and last chemo he just looks oddNotice that her husband doesnt make an appearance at ANY public engagements with her, ever. I think we'd best make our peace with it, she'll be wheeling it out for years.Oh my Christ we’re reliving that bloody bell walk again
You beat me to it, I was coming here to say exactly that!Too risky to be in a dance studio….
But ok if it’s going to be broadcast on Prime Time TV presumably.
Well she wasn't mentioned by name, she had to grab attention from somewhereBloody hell she was shoving people out the way so she could be centre stage on strictly last night!
