I seriously could not agree with you more about this. That’s like the one biggest peeve I had when I went to the parks. I always hated seeing bloggers out with their cameras filming stuff while I just wanted to come and enjoy the parks. The last thing I need to see are these ppl with their cameras filming stuff.

What is also annoying with these bloggers too is that they claim their blogging is a job when in my opinion it isn’t. All they do is walk around, go on rides and talk all the while getting super chats swear if these theme parks weren’t open how would they even be making a living? Lol

I guess because I don’t go to the parks…ever, I didn’t notice much vlogging going on when I went with my family in January ( the last time we had been was in the 90s, so I was too much in amazement over everything ). I saw Mondo but that was only because I was spotted him as I walked out of Ronto Roasters. I don’t think I would’ve noticed him
otherwise. He was doing a live but he was filming in selfie mode (I skimmed through it to see if I could spot my family waiting for me).

I agree, I really hope disneyland enforces their policy which essentially prevents commercial videography which these vloggers all fall into the category of if they make money on their videos. It's so uncomfortable for all of the rest of the guests who come to just enjoy the parks and not want to be monetized by random strangers.



This is so true. They literally show up in every stream to poach viewers. I tried watching their livestream and it was so awful. They are so completely self absorbed and narcissistic. They hardly ever look at what chat is saying and just go on boring, tedious rants.

This thread has hit on some several great points that have been on my mind.

1. Yes, the livestreaming bloggers are at least, annoying, and at most, violating official park policy. How is going live to get superchats (or straight out promote your new merchandise) any different than setting up your own stand in the middle of Galaxy's Edge to hawk bootleg Star Wars t-shirts?

2. The difference is that Disney continues to see 1 above as free advertisement for the parks, and don't care about the irritation that it's causing others enough to do anything about it.

3. Mondo (who again, escapes a lot of criticism) needs to disclose paid sponsorships, discounted products and services, etc. more clearly. (I'm not sure he does at all.) . Even most b-rate vloggers do this. Honestly, I'd rather see Best Life hawk t-shirts because at least that's transparent. If Mondo reviews a cruise and got it at a discount (or if he got paid to go to some random casino) and isn't clear about it, then he's exploiting and violating the trust his viewers give him.

4. I also find myself gravitating to the smaller Disney channels. It's refreshing when they aren't making a living out of being at the parks all day (even if it's their hope to eventually do that). Even when they livestream, they aren't getting a constant rain of superchats that they must shout-out. Another option is those that actually have real jobs for a living (like Just Ask Danny - Mondo's Begathon Sunday sidekick). More polish and substance, more "objective," and not breaking the same news everyone else is (BREAKING!!! you can now hug a character!!!) or the stupid ("trees removed at New Orleans Square - why this WILL impact your next Disney visit!!!). You can really see the difference in the videos produced by people that don't depend on Di$ney for their living.

5. Livestream for the cruise - I should've known. Why bundle it into Begathon Sunday when you can have a second Begathon in a week! And of course, it'll be at some random time to make all his subscribers to subscribe to notifications. At least people like Fresh Baked have a schedule for the weekly livestream; although he's also now been livestreaming more from the park, also at random times. (Unlike Mondo though, he doesn't spend have the livestream telling everyone to turn on notifications.) As Mondo said, the cruise deserves a livestream because he's been inundated with questions since he went on the cruise *eyeroll* (I'm sure mostly from people that didn't even care about it until he advertised it for days and days). (Again, see point #2 above.)

I totally noticed that with Demi using mondo just to gain followers which she clearly did cause she’s at like 14k now. I remember how it started with doing the RIP tour at HHN last year which they got to go twice cause of her. They’ve literally been doing so much stuff they would never do or have the $ for like going to vegas and going to yamavaa all the time. Not to mention the cruise they recently went on All cause of Demi and his followers super chats

That Yamaava event Demi threw too was so laughable. It was funny how the gifts they all won were Disney and had nothing to do with the the casino. Was just something all of them can post and show off in their stories which was so annoying

That Demi and her family are wealthy, at least on her husband's side. It's not like she hides it either. Just look at her personal IG. I definitely think she used Mondo to help get her Disney friends and followers. What annoys me is how she acts like a Disnsey blogger only because she has access AKA MONEY. Also, notice how much money she wins at the casino, and then the other Disney "bloggers" repost it, to get people to go?

I use to like Mondo, but the constant begging for money and reposting of "breaking news" got old real quick. How is this lifestyle even sustainable?

Mondo was supposed to post a video with a breakdown of how much of his own money he used for the trip for all those extras, according to his gf during one of her million stories she posts daily, but that hasn't happened.

I used to watch Mondo alot but ever since Mysterybae came into in the picture it's been hard to watch his videos. Idk if notices but she flirts with all the guys Mondo hangs around. It's very obvious. Lol and always has to announce her love for him all the time which is annoying.

Same. One that I watched recently released a video where she said she hadn’t been to the parks in 2 weeks! I had to pick my jaw up off the floor. She was just there to have fun, eat, and share her reaction to new merchandise. She also doesn’t seem to have any social media content other than her youtube channel. She doesn’t even try to beg for subs other than the standard shot at the end of the videos. At the end she just says thanks for watching, see you next time. I just dig the down to earth nature of it…it’s like I’m just hanging out with a friend. Plus, she also takes the time to blur the faces of children who happen to run into her shot!

Almost as if to prove my point, Just Ask Danny just released a new Disney video earlier today. Exhaustingly thorough, highly informative, and original material. In other words, the opposite of Mondo's videos.

Wow she sent him that much $ again? She literally sends him so much $ in every stream he does and I don’t understand it. Danny is amazing. Glad you agree. That last video is really interesting, and his knowledge is more than impressive, and I actually came away feeling I learned something. And he managed to cover the Disneyland area without click-bait, with no hoopla, and certainly not the same 10 tired topics that everyone else has covered to death.

that’s what my friend and I have been saying for the longest time. Danny is the one who is so full of information and knows his stuff. I remember on previous speculation Sunday’s where Danny wasn’t there ppl in the chat would ask where he was too. Danny is the one I feel who should be getting paid those super chats not mondo honestly.

What annoys me with mondo too is that he reposts videos of what ppl share with him and takes the credit for it like he was the one who broke the news first boggles my mind how ppl don’t see through that and still follow him

When he talked about him and his gf supposedly going to try to lose weight, I thought "hmm ok, this should be interesting," considering that they eat like crap 24/7. From the looks of things, that ain't happening. Still no post about how much of his own money he used on the trip, or rather how much of his viewers money he used on the trip.

Definitely. I think Mondo has talked about losing weight or starting a weight loss regimen on several occasions, and I think it's often at Kirstyn Bae's prompting. Seems to me like she's the one that forces him to go out on the occasional hikes away from a theme park. However, we're far more likely to see a "NEW MAIN STREET ELECTRICAL PARADE MERCH!!!" video before one that's actually helpful or interesting.

He's definitely missing out on making more money by doing something about weight loss, maybe making a Disney health journey would be original. I saw him at Disneyland one time at a gift shop, and he was huffing and puffing. I was really shocked at how much bigger he looks in person.

Seriously doubt he's ready to get married, or to have kids. Can't see him raising a baby and still going to the parks all the time. As it is, his gf leaves her son for someone else to watch then again, if Demi pays for their wedding, I'm sure he'll be all in.
