I also managed to get THE PEA’S! Will do them for dinner at some point this weekend! Very excited to try them.

This thread has influenced me more than any influencer in the last year 😆

LOVE this thread, have been silently following for a week or so!!

have been lucky enough to get the mighty peas 😍😍😍 but no luck finding the mochi, except for the coconut flavour which I wouldn’t like 😭

Has anyone tried the Big Mac knock off?? I saw they do the nuggets and hash browns too.
Yeah it’s not like a Big Mac really. My boyfriend likened it to a burger van burger. That’s not a bad thing though. The nuggets are 👌🏻👌🏻👌🏻👌🏻

What to people have their mighty peas with?

Do you have them in place of un-mighty peas or is there a particular food they’re great with?

Going to Lidl this morning hopefully I can get mochi and wasabi ice cream, not getting my hopes up though 😂 does anyone recommend the low calorie tubs of ice cream in Lidl? I usually buy halo top in Tesco but it’s not always on offer and hate paying £5 for a tub
I love the coffee low calorie icecream from Lidl! Aldi do a caramel one that’s very nice too, I’d say they’re as good as Halo Top (just less flavour options!)

I’ve been poorly with a chest infection this week, so my boyfriend had to be the hunter gatherer (he hates shopping).. and he only came back from Aldi with every flavour of mochi! 🥰

P.s I love this thread and all the recommendations! ❤ Definitely going to look for the mighty peas next time I go! 👀

I’m going to have them with steak tonight , cauliflower cheese mid week and have them cold in a salad with feta and cucumber at some point.

I'm going to Aldi this afternoon for the first time since the pandemic began. There are so many things I want to try thanks to this thread.

My friend years ago said that certain lower priced brands were made by the same expensive brands, like Bourjois (remember them) were made by Chanel. I can't think of the others she said. But looking at the Aldi website the Lacura moisture boost looks like Clinques moisture surge. Anyone tried it?

I've bought the Lacura Moisture Boost, as has my sis, and it's really nice (posted about that on HUKD a few times as well - added a few reviews on this post). It's not a permanent line, so it's on Specialbuys and sells out pretty quickly. I don't use Clinique but my sister buys Moisture Surge and she really rates it.

They also sell Pixi-alike Glycolic, Retinol Toners which are great. The Lacura Healthy Glow toner is a dupe for Pixi Glow Tonic, apparently. Here's one review, but there's loads on the net.

As an aside, but about Clinique dupes, OneBelow has stocked the equate brand (Wal-Mart US) but I haven't seen their Clinique-alikes in the UK. May be worth looking out for.

Is this the one? I bought it last month and really like it so far! I have combination skin and have a hard time finding moisturisers that work well for me so I’m going to grab another if they have any left!

I’ve not used Clinque’s moisture surge before so I can’t compare the two - but it looks like they have very similar ingredients! Aldi’s skincare is also cruelty free and leaping bunny certified which is a big plus too 😊

Speaking of non-food products, I really like the new foamy shower mousses in Aldi - the mandarin and mango one smells so good! 🍊

Last week I had them with a Nando’s type meal and Sunday planning on having them with roast chicken and mash. They’d go well with anything you’d eat peas with.

I've just tried the tropical mochi from Aldi, it's so good. I can't believe how much Aldi has stepped it's game up.
