Popped into Lidl again this morning to check the mochi situation. Still completely empty

I dont mind Lidl but ours is a nice new one, nice and bright and airy. They knocked the old one down completely and rebuilt. The older ones are depressing I think, same with really old Aldi.
I have never been to an Aldi before because there's none anywhere near me, but I have to go out for an appointment tomorrow so I'm reeeeally tempted to get on a train to the other side of town after it and go hunting for pretzel chocolate

There's a solero knock off that's good for cals... They've also done a low cal Graham's knock off.. the raspberry and white chocolate like you could get from Lidl but it's called Gianni's in Aldi. The viennetta on sticks also good for low cals... Basically... Just got back from Lidl and they had everything but the Mochi (they did not get any at all) and must say I was impressed with their fruit and veg, think I might be changing my weekly shop as Aldi just down the road is only a small one and although a drive to Lidl there was much more choice.
Nothing had been onsale yesterday which I was pleased about.

Don't panic, there were none of those in my local one and it is a large shop and we were first in. I had a good look around the tupenny table (as we have always called it) and there was nothing like that there, I would not have missed those.Oh my god! Wish I’d known about these before I went this morning

But did find mojito cocktail pouches that you freeze. Might try it tonight and if it’s nice, go back for more/desperately look for mochi.
Also they had pineapple & raspberry cider which is nice, I’d recommend!

Allllll the mochi is in my Lidl, they were only just putting them out when I was in there. I got one of each flavour, because the children of the house enjoy them too.
I think aldi sells these little cans of raspberry lemon gin and they’re very nice. I had some a few months back and I still remember how nice they are. They’re super tart but you can taste the sweetness of the gin. Lovely summer drinkNo mochi in my Lidl store either!!
